According
to the news agency awdnews.com, during the conversation behind closed
doors, Russian President Vladimir Putin called Erdogan a dictator and
threatened to send him to hell together with the ISIS terrorists,
Joinfo.ua reports.
It
is reported that Vladimir Putin violated diplomatic procedures, and
had a row with the Turkish Ambassador in Moscow, Mr. Umit Erdim, and
warned him that the Russian Federation might break off diplomatic
relations with his country unless the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
ceased supporting the ISIS rebels in Syria, where the only Russian
naval base in the Mediterranean is.
The
leader of the Russian Federation allegedly made a long speech
condemning the Turkish foreign policy and malevolent role of Turkey
in the support of al-Qaeda terrorists in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, The
Moscow Times informs. The conflict conversation with the Turkish
diplomat turned into a bitter debate, the publication writes.
According
to the leaked information obtained by the edition of The Moscow
Times, a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Turkish Ambassador was
characterized by strong mutual resentment.
Ambassador
Umit Erdim rejected all accusations and blamed Russia for a brutal
and protracted civil war in Syria. “Then tell your dictator
president he can go to hell along with his ISIS terrorist and I shall
make Syria to nothing but a ‘Big Stalingrad’ , for Erdoğan and
his Saudi allies are no vicious than Adolf Hitler,” said Putin
during the 2-hour meeting with the Turkish emissary behind closed
doors.
“How
hypocrite is your president as he advocates democracy and lambaste
the military coup d’état in Egypt and he simultaneously condones
all terrorist activities aimed to overthrow Syrian president!”
Putin said.
The
Russian leader said that Russia would not stop supporting the
legitimate Syrian authorities and would cooperate with its allies –
Iran and China – to find a political way to solve the endless civil
war in Syria, “which descended the 23-million Arab nation to an
utter ethnic and religious anarchy.”
