John Pilger interviewed on Radio New Zealand

There is an ideological battle going on between the right-wing neo-liberals that have hijacked political parties right through the political spectrum, and moderates like Jeremy Corbyn.

It was a pleasure to listen to a resonable interview with the great journalist, John Pilger. Put simply, exactly what journalism should be.

Contrast that with the interview done in the lead- up to the Iraq war with (yes) pseudo-journalist, Kim Hill (also of Radio New Zealand).

John Pilger on Wikileaks, Julian Assange & Jeremy Corbyn

John Pilger is an Australian born journalist and filmmaker who has twice won Britain's Journalist of the Year award.

This opinion piece from Britain's Telegraph illustrates perfectly what Pilger is talking about.

Candidate for the British Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn during a press conference at Ealing Town Hall in west London, England

Telegraph View: Jeremy Corbyn poses as an innocent idealist, but his economics is absurd and his foreign policy appalling. The Labour Party and the country need rescuing from his dangerous campaign

There was a point in the summer when the rise of Jeremy Corbyn in the Labour leadership race was curious, even amusing. But the underdog is now the frontrunner and he stands a good chance of becoming leader of the Opposition. That would put him within reach of No 10, considering how small the Tory majority is and how much the SNP would love to join a socialist coalition government. So Labour’s problem is fast becoming Britain’s problem and they are doing a terrible job of containing it.

So too do the antics of Kim Hill on Television New Zealand from the days when TVNZ still did current affairs

Lastly, here is Wikileaks' plea for funds
