Shots Were Fired At 4/20 Rally In Denver, Reports of Injuries

Is it at all humanely possible to end this week without being inundated with “breaking” news relating to some crazed a-holes completely destroying the lives of innocent people just looking to have a good time. With today being 4/20 and all–a time to celebrate marijuana–it was assumed that we would be able to forget about the horrors of the week with by celebrating the magic herb. Sadly, that just isn’t humanly possible in a country hell-bent on killing each other with small penis substitutes, which was just made easier by Congress.

The Denver Post just reported that people were shot in Denver’s Civic Center during Saturday’s pot rally, one that attracted thousands given Colorado’s rational decision to finally legalize small amounts of it for recreational use. According to the Denver Post, Denver Police tweeted that one victim was shot in the leg and another person was also down with unknown injuries. Also, paramedics on the scene claim that at least three people were shot and that all three victims are now en route to Denver Health Medical Center.

4/19 was all about Chechnya, and 4/20 was supposed to be all about ‘Cheechnya’. However, in today’s gun and violence-obsessed culture, it really no longer appears safe for anyone to enjoy themselves in a large gathering.
