the resources to allow for western models of consumption while
providing for the rights of all to healthy food, water, shelter and
medicine, without resprssion and exploitation. They provide a
challenge to a western-centric view of the world

consumption-led economic growth cannot be replicated in Asia with
global resources under increased pressure.
