Yes and there are still "meteorologists" out there saying this el nino will save California from demise. Last time I checked , something other than warm moist air was required to form clouds and storm systems...something called "cold air", these folks might want to look into it. A few freak dips in jet stream from the northeast (very rare) might bring a few storms, but I see a very bad scenario for california's future.
