Deteorating Japan- Korean relations

South Korea, Japan currency swap jeopardized

South Korea-Japan relations have deteriorated for the worse, brought on by historical disputes including the islets of Dokdo, or Takeshima in Japan, as well as the issue of Korean "comfort women" allegedly used as sex slaves for the Japanese Imperial Army.
