Russia’s
early warning radars have detected the launch of two ballistic
rockets in the eastern Mediterranean, Russia’s Defense Ministry
stated. The launch reportedly took place at 06:16 GMT Tuesday.

Russian
Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has informed President Vladimir Putin
that two ballistic missiles have been launched in the Mediterranean
Sea with a trajectory set for Syria.
The
Russian warning system for rocket launches on Tuesday morning
detected the launch of the missiles at its Armavir radio-technical
hub.
"The
launch was detected at 10:16 a.m. (Moscow time)," the Defense
Ministry's press service announced to journalists.
"Russian
Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu has informed the
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, [President] Vladimir Putin on
the detection of two ballistic missiles," a press representative
said.
