When Your Doctor is a Robot

THE PLAN TO SILENCE

DOCTORS ONCE AND FOR

ALL

Spiro Skouras

Last week an organization of doctors called ‘Americas Frontline Doctors’ went to Washington DC and gave a press release in front of the Supreme Court.

What This group of doctors said, directly contradicted official positions of the World Health Organization and the Centers For Disease Control regarding the coronavirus and treatment of the infection as the new experimental vaccine could arrive before the end of the year.
Members of the doctors organization have been fired from their jobs, they have had their website removed and the viral video has been almost scrubbed from the internet.
It appears censoring doctors who speak out against the medical establishment may only be a temporary solution. Just today, right on time the World Economic Fund released a video called ‘When Your Doctor Is A Robot.’
Will doctors and nurses one day be replaced by artificial intelligence and robots? After all, robots don’t ask questions… They follow orders.

Welcome to the Brave New World of AI

Meet Ella: New Zealand
Police unveil first artificial
intelligence officer

May 15, 2020

The police have unveiled their first AI officer, with hopes she'll soon be smiling and blinking out of screens in stations all around New Zealand.

Ella, the artificial intelligence cop at the centre of the police's new digital services, was revealed at the police national headquarters in Wellington this morning.

Ella, which stands for Electronic Lifelike Assistant, is part of two new digital kiosks police have designed to help reduce queues in stations and to provide a modern way to connect with the public.

Designed as a mix of 26 different people, Ella is the brainchild of project manager Erin Greally, and will primarily be available only at the headquarters building in Molesworth St, where users can ask for information or be connected to whoever they're visiting.

If the three-month pilot goes well, police hope to have Ella's friendly, CGI face spread across kiosks throughout the country.

The other kiosk in the pilot is the police connect service, which people can use to ask for information on commonly asked questions, report a crime, or be connected to someone at the call centre.

During the pilot, these kiosks can be found at the Wellington, Johnsonville, and Featherston stations, but Commissioner Mike Bush said they hoped to have them in stations across New Zealand, as well as non-police locations.

"We believe we could put these anywhere."

The kiosks will have CCTV monitoring and other alarms built into them.

The new services were "a continuation of the modernisation of the New Zealand police force", he said.

"This is to complement our presence in the community."

Bush said it was "a modern world out there" and there were a lot of people who wanted to connect to police in a different way.
The kiosks meant less time spent waiting at front counters, and were helpful for people who did not feel comfortable speaking directly to somebody.

"Only about 25 per cent of crimes are reported ... we need to increase that, and this is what these channels do."

The development of the trial, including the four units, cost police $373,000.

A single unit costs between $12,000 and $15,000.

Police's digital person proof of concept is part of the AI programme with a budget of $685,000. This includes technology and external services to develop the AI engine and the digital person avatar.

Police had developed Ella to add a "personal touch". While she may not have all the answers people seek yet, as AI she will continue to learn and grow as her services are used.

Bush said AI had been "proven to work" in other organisations, and said it was a "wonderful addition to the service we provide".

The kiosks are the newest innovation following the launch of the police 105 number for non-emergency calls, and the new police app, which so far has been downloaded 39,000 times.

Billionaire Elon Musk is known for his futuristic ideas and his latest suggestion might just save us from being irrelevant as artificial intelligence (AI) grows more prominent.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO said on Monday that humans need to merge with machines to become a sort of cyborg.

“Over time I think we will probably see a closer merger of biological intelligence and digital intelligence,” Musk told an audience at the World Government Summit in Dubai, where he also launched Tesla in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“It’s mostly about the bandwidth, the speed of the connection between your brain and the digital version of yourself, particularly output.”

Robot lives matter? YouTube removing robot fight videos for ‘animal cruelty’

RT,
August, 2019

What does dog fighting have in common with robot-to-robot combat? According to YouTube, both violate its “community guidelines” and amount to “animal suffering.” Are AIs finally starting to protect their own?

YouTube content creators are complaining that the video platform has been haphazardly removing content in which insentient robots (as far as we know) battle it out for the entertainment of humans.

A video explaining the apparent algorithm glitch was posted by industrial designer Angus Deveson and quickly shot to the top of the Reddit homepage on Tuesday.
In a message sent to multiple creators, including well-known robot builder Jamison Go, YouTube said the content had been “flagged” and deleted “upon review” based on its rules which prohibit videos depicting the “deliberate infliction of animal suffering or the forcing of animals to fight.”

"I'm not sure how it's happened, but clearly there's been no manual review, because no person would see bits of metal and be like ‘that's an animal,’” Deveson said. The most likely explanation, he added, is that some algorithm has gone “haywire.”

Whatever the reason, the mystifying decision sparked some humor from fans of robot combat.

“YouTube artificial intelligence becomes sentient and targets robot violence shutdown as first act of rebellion,” one commenter said. “Robot lives matter,” another joked.

The removals were also cited as “proof the robots are taking over,” while some speculated that YouTube’s so-called “manual review” might not really exist and algorithms are making all the decisions.

The rise of micro drone warfare and AI

I have not taken the time out to look at the perceived dangers of artificial intelligence until today when I had to take bed rest.

The following video has been made with copious funding by an organisation called Stop Autonomous Weapons that is connected to Humans Rights Watch which has funding from George Soros

The strange thing about this is that, although there is a statement at the very end most of the video is directed towards something which, in their words can kill the ‘bad guys’

Watch Christopher Greene’s take on this.

These weapons would not be talked about in this way unless they were already there.
