A small number of frontline workers refuse the vaccine in NZ - what will the consequences for them?

The "information"they talk about is not information. There is "informed consent" without the information.

Covid-19: About 12,700 frontline workers have received vaccine - 21 refused

Twenty-one frontline workers have refused the Covid-19 jab, three weeks into the vaccine rollout programme.

This is from an early RNZ news broadcast

The head of Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ), Brigadier Jim Bliss, confirmed these figures following anecdotal reports over a week ago of staff refusing the jab.

A total of 12,709 of the 15,200-strong workforce in MIQ facilities and at the border have so far received the vaccine.

Brigadier Bliss told RNZ that staff have a right to refuse the vaccine, but there are ramifications.

"We go through an education process and we also have a discussion with their employer about the next steps for them and that's a further conversation with the worker."

He said all staff get educated on the vaccine but those who decline get extra

information.

"We're strongly encouraging all of our workforce in MIQ and the border to be

vaccinated and if not, there has to be a conversation about whether that worker is redeployed in the organisation, or what the next steps are.

"Hopefully we'll get them on-side and vaccinated as part of the workforce."

He said if they continue to refuse, there will be discussions with the worker's employer over whether they can be redeployed elsewhere.

"As we continue through the vaccination process we'll get greater understanding of what the full picture is around those who have chosen not to be immunised."

He expected the number of vaccinated frontline staff to grow as workers return from leave or rotate through shift patterns.

He said despite the handful of refusals, the uptake is otherwise reassuring and

said frontline staff are doing the country a great service.

"It's a great result so far."

"Border and MIQ staff have now supported more than 120,000 people to safely

cross the border to life in New Zealand, all while protecting our communities.

"Every day they go to work and put themselves between us and this virus. It's

thanks to them that we're all able to enjoy the freedoms and quality of life we

currently do."

The next step is giving staff their second and final dose as there must be a three-

week standown between shots.

Vaccinating the 50,000 family members or household contacts of frontline staff began in the past week and "uptake is strong so far". He was unable to provide

figures on how many household contacts had refused shots so far.

The government is on track to have all frontline staff who agree to the vaccine

immunised by early April, Brigadier Bliss said.

Indian community members call for more info on vaccine side-effects

Members of Auckland's Indian community want the Ministry of Health to better

inform people about the possible side-effects of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Auckland Indian Association president Narendra Bhana, who has praised the

Covid-19 messaging so far, said people want to know more before signing up for

this next step in the response.

Some frontline workers in south Auckland who are next in line for the jab are of Indian descent, and still hold reservations about it, he said.

He said improved communication about the side-effects would reassure people so they get the vaccine.

"The education about the vaccine is something the Ministry of Health needs to

improve on, people are a little bit reserved because they're not sure about the side effects of the vaccine. It's a very [small] minority there but it still does need to be

dealt with."

Auckland has an Indian population of about 200,000, he said.

Spin from the Spinoff

This is the usual stuff from deep in the  Kiwi psyche - a deep inferiority complex and a fear we might be "falling behind other countries"; in this case, in genocide.

The Bulletin: Going big on the Pfizer vaccine

the Spinoff,

9 March, 2021

Good morning and welcome to The Bulletin. In today’s edition: Government goes big on the Pfizer vaccine, tens of thousands of tonnes of toxic Tiwai waste revealed, and National party election review to be delivered.

The government has bought enough Pfizer vaccines to cover the entire country, in a significant update to the vaccination programme. As our live updates reports, the load will arrive in the second half of the year, well after other countries have received their doses. Other purchase orders are in place, for brands that don’t have the same cold-storage logistical challenges as Pfizer. But overall, the one the government has gone for looks like the best on the market. “The decision to make Pfizer New Zealand’s primary vaccine provider was based on the fact the Pfizer vaccine has been shown to be about 95% effective at preventing symptomatic infection,” said PM Ardern. The full schedule of who gets it when will be laid out later this week.

So what will change with the vaccine? There are two pieces I think that are worth noting. The first is by Mirjam Guesgen on The Spinoff, and discusses why an air crew member still tested positive after getting the jab. They’d only had their first of two doses, which reduces efficacy, and vaccination in this case doesn’t completely block any and all chances of catching Covid-19 – rather it makes people asymptomatic, and reduces transmission.

And with that, we eventually end up with herd immunity. That’s a term that has been mangled by bad science over the last year, and taken to mean what happens when everyone has been infected (wrong and deadly!) but it is actually desirable and possible to achieve with vaccines. As Politik reports, when this happens the plan is to treat Covid-19 much more like the flu, with seasonal vaccinations to protect against emerging strains, but no lockdowns or travel bans to prevent it spreading.  Speaking on Morning Report just before, Ardern signalled the end of the year as when this would be achieved.

Another 75,000 tonnes of toxic waste around Tiwai Point has been revealed, and the company doesn’t know what it’s going to do with it yet, reports Phil Pennington for Radio NZ. Exporting the waste is becoming more difficult for Rio Tinto, who have responsibilities to remediate their mess, and efforts to process the waste onshore haven’t come to much. While the company says they are confident it is stored safely and securely, documents show there have been several scares when the storage building was compromised in some way.

The National party election review has been delivered to the party board, and will be discussed by MPs today, reports Stuff. MPs won’t necessarily be able to read the final version in full though, nor will party members or the public. I’m stealing this joke (paywalled) but I look forward to reading whatever gets leaked to Newshub’s Tova O’Brien.

We’ve been doing our utmost to bring you all the coverage you need of the Covid-19 outbreaks and lockdowns. And we can’t do it without the generous support of our members. If you want to help out our news team with this and other big stories, please sign up here.

We’re coming up on an array of one-year-since anniversaries, with March last year being the month that changed everything. To mark that, we’ve published a reflection by Siouxsie Wiles and illustrated by Toby Morris, whose work to explain Covid-19 went around the world many times over. Wiles freely admits she didn’t get everything right in every situation (who did though, during an unprecedented global emergency) but I think what really jumps out at me is how the pair’s work has always been underpinned by compassion for people. We’re lucky to have both of them.

Plastic clips from freezing works are winding up in the bellies of ocean fish, reports Radio NZ’s Anusha Bradley. They’re also being spotted at beaches all over the country, at alarming rates. The clips are used as part of the slaughter process to prevent meat getting contaminated. Perhaps a more important aspect of the story though is the buck-passing going on between industry, local councils and government departments, over the rather pertinent matter of how to prevent it happening in the first place.

A pair of stories from the world of fruit: Morgane Solignac reports for Stuff that because of weather patterns stretching over two seasons, the grape harvest in Marlborough will be well down on previous years. Some vineyards have lost basically their whole crop to frosts. In contrast, the kiwifruit industry is looking at a record harvest, reports Richard Rennie for Farmers Weekly, with the Sungold variety now pulling bigger volumes than the traditional green.

A bit of media news: PM Jacinda Ardern has pulled out of her weekly interview with the Mike Hosking Breakfast on Newstalk ZB, reports Justin Giovannetti. She will still be available to speak to the show when issues come up, but it’s a bit of a watershed moment for the government’s relationship with the news media. There is understood to be a wider rejigging of media commitments going on, and it’s looking like it’ll lean more towards music radio and (I mean no disrespect to the outlets here) softer interviews.

I listen to a lot of news interviews, so if I may give my two cents here: I believe the PM and her advisors are in the wrong, in a way that makes them look unwilling to be scrutinised. Readers of this probably won’t have a lot of time for Hosking and his political views, so take it from me – he’s a tough but fair interviewer, who demands information rather than spin from political guests. That was underlined just last week, when he praised minister Ayesha Verrall for how she handled some tough questions about the outbreak. Doing these interviews is part and parcel of being a senior politician, so hopefully the PM will continue to appear regularly.

EVIL NEWS: NZ has enough PFIZER mRNA vaccine for every man, woman and child

NZ government decides on

Pfizer, the most deadly mRNA

vaccine, as its SOLE “vaccine

Last night I was drifting off to sleep when my partner rushed into the room to tell me the news - that the Jacinda Adern government has 'secured' enough vaccine for every man, woman and child in the country.

Most importantly that the Pfizer is to be the sole "vaccine" to be used.

I woke up this morning and had to actually search for anything on this huge story that is going to affect, sooner-or- later, everyone in the country.

There were quite a few items from overseas reporting on this.  This item, from the Times of India, was one of only two items on You Tube.

This headline from the Independent was the most honest.

New Zealand will use ONLY the Pfizer "vaccine", out of "fairness"  (sic).

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/jacinda-ardern-announces-new-zealand-will-only-use-pfizer-vaccine-for-e2-80-98fairness-e2-80-99/ar-BB1emNj7

The truth is that New Zealand has this supply of the most deadly vaccine on the market because India refused and now there is an excess supply.

From RT.

There have been approximately 1200 deaths from the vaccines since the roll-out in the United States.

Of these, Pfizer represents approximately 55% of deaths (Moderna, 45%)

This is the vaccine the NZ government has chosen as its SOLE vaccine.

The media spin in New Zealand is quite different.  It is a celebratory one - the government has purchased enough poison to go around for every New Zealander.

https://www.rt.com/news/517488-new-zealand-pfizer-vaccine-astrazeneca-concerns/

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins made the announcement at a post-Cabinet briefing about 4pm.

Ardern said the decision to make Pfizer New Zealand's primary vaccine provider was based on it being shown to be about 95 percent effective at preventing symptomatic infection.

"Whilst the Pfizer vaccine does need to be kept at ultra-cold temperatures, this challenge is offset by only having to deal with one vaccine, rather than multiple vaccines with multiple protocols. It will simplify our vaccine roll out."

Ardern said the government had signed an advance purchase agreement for an additional 8.5 million doses on top of what it has already bought, bringing the total order to 10 million - enough for five million people to get the two shots needed to be fully vaccinated.

She said early evidence of the Pfizer vaccine's efficacy was 'extremely promising'.

"This purchase marks a significant milestone in New Zealand's fight against Covid-19. We can all take heart that we have now secured one of the strongest and more effective tools in the Covid-19 toolkit," Ardern said.

The additional vaccines are expected to arrive during the second half of the year.

Ardern said the purchase meant all New Zealanders would now have access to the same vaccine, which would simplify the vaccine rollout, so it would not slow the rollout of the vaccines at all.

Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins said the Ministry of Health was now working with Pfizer on the delivery schedule to ensure a "smooth rollout".

He said consideration was also being given to how best to use vaccine doses that would not end up being needed in New Zealand.

"We are working on options for donating surplus doses across our wider portfolio to the Pacific and developing countries worldwide.

"Options could include delaying delivery to New Zealand, in order to free up supply for other countries in the short-term, or donating spare vaccines to other countries", Hipkins said.

Hipkins said the Pfizer vaccine was the only one that had been approved by Medsafe and it was incredibly effective. He said having one vaccine to administer would make the process of getting people vaccinated more streamlined.

He said work was ongoing to ensure vaccinators had the right gear to administer Pfizer vaccine - syringes, freezers, etc. He said the government had enough for the first half of the campaign and was now in the market for the second half.

Using just one vaccine would simplify those equipment requirements, he said.

Ardern said the government was making good progress with the vaccine rollout, with the vast majority of border staff and MIQ workers having received their first shots of vaccine.

She said household contacts of these workers had also been receiving the vaccine, roughly 50,000 people. She said the government expected to start the second tranche of vaccines - non-border frontline workers - later this month.

The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is more expensive than some of the other options.

"We've seen as a nation just how far we're willing to go to look after one another. And so I think it's fair to say no matter what vaccination you're talking about it all comes at a much lower price than the loss of life, or ... the ongoing hit that many businesses take if we have outbreaks.

"In our minds this is money very well spent, and spending it here on what is a highly effective vaccine where we won't have a situation of some New Zealanders getting one and some New Zealanders getting the other."

Ardern said the government was not putting all its eggs in one basket by securing 10m doses of the Pfizer vaccine, pointing to the other agreements it has with other vaccine manufacturers.

Hipkins says Medsafe had informed him the Janssen vaccine was farthest along in getting approved.

Ardern finished her speech on International Women's Day by acknowledging all the women who have played a part in the fight against Covid-19.

Vaccine priority for sportspeople?

Ardern said she had not had any direct conversations with New Zealand Cricket about players getting vaccines earlier than the general public.

New Zealand Cricket was reported as saying it was negotiating with the government to protect the Black Caps before they went overseas next month and attempt to become the inaugural world test champions.

Ardern said she was aware there was a range of people wanting to represent New Zealand on the world stage over the coming 12 months who would need to be vaccinated before entering countries overseas. She said Olympians were another group.

Global discussion on recovery

Ardern said that on Wednesday she would take part of a round table discussion hosted by the Prime Minister of Sweden and Spain and the UN Secretary General on how we can "build back better from Covid."

She said the agreement with Pfizer would also cover New Zealand's Pacific partners.

Climate change, human rights and global health would all be included in discussion, she said.

Ardern said she would still go on Mike Hosking's Newstalk ZB show when it was of national importance.

She said the decision to no longer appear weekly on the show was made about four weeks ago.

"No one can do everything," she said. "The reason it hasn't been noticed, perhaps, until now is I have appeared on two occassions since then and that's because we said 'look, when there are issues of national significance I will still be on Mike's show."

"No one can do every single slot that's available ... people get their news from multiple sources."

No caption

She said she was trying to expand into other platforms and radio stations to try to get the government's message across.

She thought she could do a better job in trying to reach people where they were, and that had factored into her decision, she said.

"I don't think anyone would argue that I'm not available, [that] I'm not able to be questioned on the issues of the day, but I do want to do a better job of reaching into some other corners where people might not get their information from ZB or the Herald."

That did not mean more time with Facebook Live, but rather she was trying to reach people through different media outlets and different forms of TV, radio and media than she had previously.

Five new cases in MIQ today

Earlier today the Ministry of Health revealed there were five new cases of Covid-19 in managed isolation facilities and no new community cases.

Yesterday the Ministry revealed a new case had been identified in an Air New Zealand crew member during routine surveillance testing.

The crew member went into quarantine, while their household contacts tested negative but remained in isolation at home as a precaution.

The ministry said the case remained symptom-free so public health staff were conservatively considering they may have been infectious since their last negative test on 28 February.

The Ministry said the risk to the public was considered low because the case had limited contact with people and locations as Auckland was in alert level 3 at the time.

The person was believed to have been infected overseas shortly before they received a dose of the vaccine. Vaccines require two doses and take weeks to provide maximum protection.

New Zealand's alert levels dropped at 6am on Sunday morning, with Auckland at alert level 2 and the rest of the country at alert level 1.

I think it might be appropriate to repost this piece of satire from Australia:

Also, to remind you of what the enigmatic website, Deagel.com 's projection for populations in 2025 - for New Zealand a reduction of 3.3 million out of a population just short of 5 million.

It now makes sense:

Pfizer's killer mRNA "vaccine"

REPORT: Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine killed 40 times more old people than the virus itself would have

(Natural News) The experimental Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines from Pfizer that were rushed into production and distribution via Donald Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” program are killing far more elderly people than the so-called “virus” itself would have.

A re-analysis of data provided by the Israeli Health Ministry concluded that Pfizer and BioNTech’s messenger RNA (mRNA) gene therapy injections have already killed “about 40 times more (elderly) people than the disease itself would have killed” during a recent five-week vaccination period.

Piggybacking on research from back in January which found that Chinese virus vaccines are “not safer” than the virus itself, this latest study indicts the Trump vaccines for causing more death rather than preventing it.

Dr. Hervé Seligmann, a faculty member at Aix-Marseille University in France demonstrated using a full mathematical analysis that among “those vaccinated and above 65, 0.2% … died during the three-week period between doses, hence about 200 among 100,000 vaccinated.”

“This is to be compared to the 4.91 dead among 100,000 dying from COVID-19 without vaccination,” he added.

Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine killed 260 times more young people than the virus itself would have

Seligmann and his colleagues found that the situation is even worse for younger people who are jabbed with Pfizer’s China virus injections. Among those under the age of 65, the vaccines killed 260 times more people than would have died from the virus itself.

“This scary picture also extends to those below 65,” the researchers wrote. During the five-week vaccination process, “0.05% meaning 50 among 100,000 died.”

“This is to be compared to the 0.19 per 100,000 dying from COVID-19 (who) are not vaccinated … Hence the death rate of this age group increased by 260 (times) during this five-week period of the vaccination process, as compared to their natural COVID-19 death rate,” they added.

Seligmann, who also holds a biology degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, declared that he and his team “have no conflicts or interests other than having children in Israel.”

Seligmann and his colleague went on to stipulate that these figures are likely to be far too low because they only account for deaths that occurred in “that short time period” and do “not include AVC and cardiac (and other) events resulting from the inflammatory reactions.” The numbers also do not “account for long-term complications,” he further explained.

In other words, it is just plain stupid to get a Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine based on the science. The “disease” holds almost no risk of complications for the vast majority of people that “contract” it, and yet millions of people out there have been convinced to take experimental “vaccines” that their manufacturers are not liable for in the event of injury or death.

Keep in mind that these reported injuries and deaths only include those that occurred shortly after the vaccines were administered. It remains to be seen how these vaccinations affect everyone else mid- and long-term.

As revealed by America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS), the antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) effects of these Chinese virus vaccines do not provide any protection whatsoever against the virus and will actually make people who receive them more susceptible to disease later on down the road.

“Instead of protecting the person, [it] causes a more severe or lethal disease when the person is later exposed to SARS-CoV-2 in the wild,” AFLDS determined. “The vaccine amplifies the infection rather than preventing damage.”

Because of this, AFLDS is strongly discouraging people against getting any of these experimental vaccines. Recognizing the dangers involved, Seligmann and his fellow researchers are doing the same, calling this mass vaccination campaign “a new Holocaust.”

(Natural News) The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is investigating the death of a Nebraska man who died not long after getting injected for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).

Joining the more than 1,170 other corpses that have also reported to the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as post-vaccination deaths, the man, who was in his late 40s, had just received his first dose of Pfizer and BioNTech’s China virus vaccine, which received emergency approval last year under Donald Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” program.

The man had been living in a long-term care facility, and the mainstream media was quick to note that he had “several coexisting diseases and conditions.” Had the man simply tested “positive” for Chinese germs, however, the media would have ignored these coexisting diseases and conditions and blamed his “positive” test on people who do not wear masks.

“Typically, Covid-19 vaccine deaths can be attributed to anaphylaxis and occur within a relatively short period after the vaccine is given, which is why monitoring is done,” stated Dr. Gary Anthone, Nebraska’s chief medical officer.

“While I cannot speculate on this case, when individuals die days or weeks after the vaccine has been administered, it is more likely due to other underlying factors,” he added.

In other words, Anthone is playing the political correctness game when it comes to Covid-19 vaccination. The jab is safe and effective, the establishment claims, which means that any reported deaths from it must have been caused by something else.

The man’s death was reported in the government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which tracks injuries and deaths caused by vaccines. It is believed that VAERS only captures fewer than one percent of all vaccine-caused injuries and deaths.

“This process allows the CDC and FDA to closely monitor and assess any adverse events, for ongoing safety evaluations,” the Nebraska state health department explained in a statement.

260 times more young people are dying from coronavirus vaccines than would have from coronavirus

As expected, the CDC is trying to convince the public that Chinese virus vaccines are not related to these types of deaths. The private corporation posing as a government agency claims that there is no pattern of death associated with the jabs.

Meanwhile, Anthone is warning people with “high-risk conditions” to first consult their medical providers before agreeing to get vaccinated for the Chinese infection.

The now-deceased Nebraska man fell into the younger age category, meaning under 65, which the Israeli Health Ministry recently determined to be at an extremely low risk of dying from the virus itself.

In fact, the data shows that 260 times more young people are dying from the jabs than would have from the virus, making the jabs entirely unnecessary and extremely dangerous.

People would be much better off just living their lives, boosting their immune systems naturally, and turning off the television and social media. By doing this, they will avoid falling prey to the endless media fear-mongering about the virus, and the alleged need to get vaccinated right away in order to stop it.

“Today’s crazy rationale proposes: Take a ‘cure’ that’s far worse than the ‘ailment,'” wrote one of our own astute commenters. “Look what they get away with these days: Pitching invasive inoculation of poisons bound to inflict acute and chronic diseases for a lifetime.”

“And the sheeples wear their masks in silent, albeit idiotic, support for this sinister plot. It is indeed dangerous to speak out in isolation, but We the People en masse shall prevail because we are the good who will triumph over evil.”
