BBC acts as an agent of the British State spying on Facebook groups and dobbing them in

The Stasi State in Britain

This story is about 5 days old but I only picked up on it today,

The BBC Panorama program did a hit piece on the anti-vaccination program and, in particular on this video.

Ask The Experts (Covid-19 Vaccine) - Now Banned on YouTube and Facebook

Here is the write-up by the BBC:

BBC Panorama - 'Vaccines: the Disinformation War'

Activists have been targeting people with fears about vaccines in a social media blitz. In an experiment, BBC Panorama showed a panel one video filled with falsehoods to see how it affected their willingness to get a jab.

In a sleepy suburb of Norwich, 83-year-old Rosemary opens a WhatsApp message from a relative.

It contains a video called Ask the Experts. (The link provided by me - SMR)

The clip features people with impressive medical and scientific titles based in the UK, US, Spain and Sweden.

Some allege, contrary to the evidence, that Covid-19 vaccines are unsafe, that they can alter a person's DNA - and even that the pandemic is somehow not real.

Rosemary is frightened - and suddenly unsure about whether she'll get vaccinated.

"It sounded so real and the people were so plausible and they were named as clinicians and doctors," she says.

With the majority of the elderly and at-risk groups having had their jabs, the next big challenge for the government is to vaccinate everyone else in the UK.

Most people say they want a jab, but the latest anti-vaccine tactics deployed by a committed minority seek to exploit people's nervousness.

image captionRosemary and her husband Donald were concerned about the video they received via WhatsApp
And here is the show itself which I found on You Tube.  For some reason the BBC won't allow their stuff to be watched outside the UK.

Apart from being a counter-factual and nasty hit piece there is more behind this, which involves a "journalist" infiltrating Facebook groups and basically spying on them and then dobbing them in to PayPal and Facebook, getting their accounts removed.

This has overstepped the bounds of journalism and shows the BBC to be an agent of the fascist State.

For her efforts Vanessa was banned on Twitter for a week.

And then there is this...

Police Spend More Time Investigating Tweets Than Burglaries

Richie Allen,

24 February, 2021

Merseyside Police have apologised for unveiling a ridiculous billboard that proclaimed “Being Offensive Is An Offence.” The apology came after the force was unmercifully but justifiably trolled over its picture of four gormless coppers, standing in front of the billboard in an ASDA car park. Muppets.

Merseyside Police were apparently attempting to show solidarity with the mythical LGBT community. I say mythical because while you will undoubtedly encounter gay and lesbian folks in Liverpool, the only thing they have in common, is that they are in a same sex relationship. The idea that there is a community is derisory.

The force claims that LGBT and Transgender hate crimes in Merseyside are increasing exponentially. This is a nonsense. When a gay man or woman calls the police and says that they were insulted by someone, because of their sexuality, it’s recorded as a hate crime and added to the statistics, even if no further action is taken.

Violent (actual) crimes against LGBTQ+ people have been declining for years and are virtually non-existent now. 99.9999 per cent of us couldn’t care less about someone’s sexuality.

And yet we see police officers (males as well) painting their fingernails pink, to show solidarity with the fantasy LGBTQ community. LBC Radio host Nick Ferrari asked a great question yesterday. He wanted to know why police forces are getting involved in campaigning these days. Isn’t it the job of the police to solve actual crimes?

It appears that police forces across the UK are increasingly more interested in investigating tweets for hate speech, than catching burglars. A neighbour of mine was burgled two years ago. The police never showed up. He was told that they’d record the crime, but that there was little they could do. My friend was bewildered. I asked a neighbourhood watch group about the lack of police response. I was told the police rarely attend house burglaries.

If he’d called a trans woman on Twitter “he” or tweeted “you’re not a real woman”, the cops would have been there in a heartbeat. Last year South Yorkshire police tweeted a call for citizens to contact them to report “non crime hate incidents.” The force asked people to report offensive or insulting comments.

Merseyside Police may have apologised but don’t be fooled. This is not going away. The state and the police are becoming more and more interested in what you and I think, not what we may have done or are about to do. Thought Crime is now a reality.

BBC propaganda channel reveals its spots

I have been looking for the language that would expose how western governments are responding to this.

While NZ media scarcely mentions it (more information vulnerable kiwis need to be protected from) the BBC displays its bias by quoting the Turkish side and misrepresenting the situation.

The only bright spot is the redoubtable Robert Fisk, who has written a lot on this subject.

Armenia and Azerbaijan fight

over disputed Nagorno-

Karabakh region - BBC News

The BBC, which still sees itself "ruling the waves" only HARD talks people they love to hate. They hate anyone who has good relations with Russia.

From Wikipedia - this is the state of play with a gencide that happened over a hundred years ago.

Currently, only the governments of Turkey and Azerbaijan deny that there was an Armenian genocide, while Pakistan refuses to recognize the state of Armenia.[10][11][12] Many other countries, most controversially the United States until October 2019 (pressured by the Turkish lobby, and, in the past, the Anti-Defamation League),[13][14][15] had deliberately avoided officially recognizing it as a genocide in order not to disturb Turkey–United States relations. In October 29 2019 the United States Congress passed the United States resolution on Armenian Genocide officially recognizing the Armenian Genocide as a genocide.[1][16] The Turkish government has spent millions of dollars on Washington lobbying over the past decade, much of it focused on the Armenian genocide issue,[17] and has in the past threatened politicians from other countries with strong retaliation to prevent them from using the word genocide.[18][19][20] The Turkish Republic has also been accused of attempting to intimidate and silence foreign investigative journalists and genocide scholars.[21][22]

The devolved legislatures of Scotland and Wales have formally recognised the Armenian Genocide. The government of the United Kingdom does not recognize the Armenian Genocide, as it considers that the evidence is not clear enough to retrospectively consider "the terrible events that afflicted the Ottoman Armenian population at the beginning of the last century" to be genocide under the 1948 UN convention. The British government states the "massacres were an appalling tragedy" and condemns them, stating that this was the view of the government during that period.[200] In 2006, an early day motion recognising the Armenian Genocide by the UK Parliament was signed by 182 MPs.[268][269]

Armenian memorial unveiled in Cardiff in 2007

However, in 2007, the position of the British government was that it condemns the massacres, but "neither this Government nor previous British Governments have judged that the evidence is sufficiently unequivocal to persuade us that these events should be categorised as genocide as defined by the 1948 UN Convention on Genocide, a convention which is, in any event, not retrospective in application."[270] In 2009, the lawyer Geoffrey Robertson QC revealed in a disclosure of Foreign Office documents entitled "Was there an Armenian Genocide?",[271] how the British Parliament has routinely been misinformed and misled by ministers who have recited FCO briefs without questioning their accuracy. As summarized by Robertson, "there was no 'evidence' that had ever been looked at and there had never been a 'judgment' at all."[272] A 1999 Foreign Office briefing for ministers said that the recognition of the Armenian Genocide would provide no practical benefit to the UK and goes on to say that "The current line is the only feasible option" owing to "the importance of our relations (political, strategic and commercial) with Turkey". The Foreign Office documents furthermore include advice from 1995 to the then Conservative foreign minister, Douglas Hogg, that he should refuse to attend a memorial service for the victims of the genocide.[273] As of 2015, the United Kingdom does not formally recognise the Ottoman Empire's massacres of Armenians as a "genocide".[274]

James Bryce (1838–1922), 1st Viscount Bryce, was one of the first Britons to bring this issue to public attention.[275][276]

Is Ghislaine Maxwell going to Intensive Care with covi-19 on the 11th July?

This arrived in my inbox yesterday.  Either someone is doing a good job faking the BBC site or the BBC are doing what they do so well (faking things) but have slipped up by posting the item prematurely.

Maybe she won't be suicided because they have found a NEW cover story for murder.

Fake news or satire? Take your choice.

GHISLAINE MAXWELL HAS
TESTED POSITIVE FOR
COVID-19 IN NEW
HAMPSHIRE JAIL, DOJ
REPORTS

An official report from the United States Department of Justice indicates that socialite and alleged Jeffrey Epstein co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in New Hampshire while awaiting extradition to New York.

Once she was in custody and began to relax, officials noticed that she was displaying symptoms related to coronavirus including watery eyes, cough, and mucus. She stood to be tested regardless of symptoms while in custody, but her symptoms and the profile of this particular case caused local officials to speed up the testing practice,” a release from the US Department of Justice stated.

It looks really bad,” one New Hampshire official told The Brown Valley Observer. “Her symptoms seem advanced at this point and ultimately she will probably end up requiring a ventilator, more likely sooner than later.”

Maxwell was arrested in New Hampshire Thursday morning in connection with Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking ring. Court papers related to her indictment allege that Maxwell was involved in the sexual abuse and trafficking of girls as young as 14 years old. She has faced allegations and previous charges related to her role as a procurer for Epstein’s alleged “sex island”

Coronavirus testing in jails is currently a standard practice in New Hampshire, with all newly arrested inmates tested before release into general population or otherwise moving or extraditing the inmate.

The DOJ release indicates that officials still intend to extradite Maxwell to New York, where she will take up residence in Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center. Manhattan MCC made headlines in 2019 when alleged “sex-trafficker to the stars” and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in an area of the prison where cameras had reportedly malfunctioned, precluding Epstein from appearing in court and testifying about the sex trafficking ring. The incident sparked dozens of conspiracy theories.

Esptein’s infamous “sex island” has been linked to dozens of Hollywood celebrities and politicians through the years, including president Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton.

Of course we need to be TOLD by Snopes this is satire!! Note, they didn't say "fake news"

Let's see what Hillary and Bill have to say about this.

Here for comparison is Hillary's actual account. Someone has gone to some lengths to fake this.

The End of Comedy

This is one of the most preposterous episodes in this sorry saga. Really, the BBC should be closed down after being made to hand over some of their classic material to Posterity before they can destroy it.

Aggressive and disrespectful BBC interview with Iranian FM

Javad Zarif, Foreign Minister, Iran - BBC HARDtalk

HARDtalk’s Zeinab Badawi is in New York for a rare interview with Iran Foreign Minister Javad Zarif who is attending high level talks at the UN. Hostilities between Iran and the US are at a historic high; recently, President Trump said he was ‘ten minutes away from war with Tehran’. Could the two countries stumble into a war? And is Iran raising the stakes in the Persian Gulf after Washington tore up the nuclear deal last year?

BBC and Sky News hide their own interview with UN rapporteur on torture of Assange

BBC, Sky News Have Hidden Their Interviews With UN Expert On The Torture Of Assange

Caitlin Johnstone

2 June, 2019

UN Special Rapporteur on torture Nils Melzer has said that on the 31st of May he gave video interviews with both Sky News and the BBC on his findings that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is the victim of psychological torture. As of this writing, footage of those interviews is nowhere to be found.

In response to a smear by virulent empire propagandist Idrees Ahmad about his conducting an interview with RT, Melzer tweeted that he has given interviews to both Sky News and BBC World, but that they seem not to have been aired.
So the UN rapporteur actually appeared on the Kremlin’s premier propaganda network — yes, the propaganda network of the state that shoots journalists in the face — to discuss Julian Assange’s ‘torture’,” tweeted Ahmad, pretending to be under the illusion that UN experts are meant to remain exclusively loyal to a specific group of nations.
For the record: On 31 May, I have also given similar exclusive TV interviews to both Sky News and BBC World on Julian Assange, but it seems they decided not to broadcast them,” Melzer responded.
Indeed, there is as of this writing no video footage to be found anywhere of Melzer’s interviews with either of these outlets. If you search for online video footage of Nils Melzer conducting interviews on this subject, you’ll find videos from RT and Ruptly, you’ll find his excellent interview on Democracy Nowwhich we discussed recently, but you won’t find videos from BBC World or Sky News, nor any record of any video interviews ever having been aired.
So appears that these interviews were never aired at all, or, if they were aired, have had any record of them hidden from easy online visibility. In any case, this is a big deal. The BBC published one print article that contains a few small excerpts from a discussion with Melzer, but in terms of impact and quantity of information this comes nowhere close to a televised interview and online video footage.
The idea that anyone from the UN should only be giving interviews to western media outlets is of course ridiculous, and it’s made even more ridiculous by the fact that Melzer has been wide open to speaking with any platform that’s willing to circulate his findings, including my own.
I stand ready to respond to uncomfortable questions, but then media must also stand ready to publish uncomfortable truths,” Melzer told me via Twitter when asked about the missing footage. He said the interviews were conducted with BBC World and Sky News via Skype, and lasted about five minutes each.
We may be sure that “uncomfortable truths” were indeed what came out in Melzer’s interview. Watch any existing video interview that Melzer has done on this subject and you’ll see how much damning information he packs into each minute of footage. You may also get a pretty strong suspicion of why establishment narrative management firms like the BBC and Sky News may not have wanted to publicize that footage.
UK’s BBC News and Sky News censored exclusive interviews with UN Torture expert Nils Melzer showing overwhelming evidence that Assange has been deliberately exposed to progressively severe forms of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment,” tweeted the Defend Assange campaign in response to Melzer’s post.
So the BBC and Sky kept the UN’s expert on torture off air, and viewers were denied the chance to hear that, in his expert opinion, the UK state has subjected Julian Assange to torture. I’m struggling to understand how that decision could be justified by any normal news values,” said British journalist Jonathan Cook.
Pressure must be put on these outlets to explain why they didn’t air these exclusive interviews, and they must be forced to give a response. Yes, any response we might get will be mealy-mouthed, they’ll make some huffy noises about limited air time etcetera, but they need to know that people aren’t just watching what they are airing with skepticism, they’re watching what they’re ignoring. When it comes to propaganda, lies by omission are even more pernicious than outright lies because they are difficult to confront.
Don’t let them fool you, this story is big. In terms of newsworthiness, it meets all the criteria and then some. Nils Melzer is great “talent” as they say; he is well spoken and interesting, and he has hugely important things to say about a hugely important situation. There is no reason to bin these interviews other than backroom politics. Demand to know what went on behind closed doors.
Julian Assange has been tortured. His health has been declining dangerously. The US, UK, Sweden, Ecuador and Australia are responsible for this. They did this to him because he published inconvenient facts about the powerful. These are truths. They are uncomfortable truths, but they are truths we all must ingest, process, and respond to.
UPDATE: Melzer reports that Sky News may have aired his interview on television, though it remains hidden online.
