Hikoi to march on NZ parliament



Hikoi against asset sales reaches Wellington
The hikoi against state asset sales has reached the Capital

The protest has made its way down the country and walked through Johnsonville to the office of MP Peter Dunne this morning.

Ohariu People's Power Spokesman John Maynard says it was important they joined the hikoi to show the magnitude of opposition.

"There would've been between 100 and 200 I didn't count. It was great because it was completely surrounded with all the banners and placards and plenty of chanting, it was a very lively affair."

At midday tomorrow the hikoi will make its way from Te Papa to the steps of parliament
