RUSSIA IMPOSES "NO-FLY" ZONE OVER LATAKIA SYRIA - INCLUDING U.S. AIRCRAFT

BREAKING NEWS: RUSSIA IMPOSES "NO-FLY" ZONE OVER LATAKIA SYRIA - INCLUDING U.S. AIRCRAFT!

24 September, 2018

The Russian military has established a no-fly zone over the Latakia province of western Syria, Russian Senator and former Air Force commander Viktor Bondarev stated on Monday.
The establishment of a no-fly zone over the Russian military base in Latakia will prevent a repeat of the IL-20 aircraft tragedy,” Bondarev told the Russian Federation’s Council this evening.
After creating a no-fly zone in Latakia, it is necessary to announce that any unauthorized objects in the sky over Hmeimim Airport will definitely be eliminated,” he added.
The Russian senator added that the S-300 will not only be deployed at the Hmeimim Airbase, but also, in several parts of the country.
Earlier this evening, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on the phone to discuss the current situation in Syria.
Reports from Moscow indicated that Putin informed Netanyahu that Russia does not accept Israel’s version of the events that took place on the night of the September 17th.
Russia expects its relations with Israel to remain the same, despite the upcoming delivery of the S-300 air defense system to Syria.

"Russia will jam satellite navigation, on-board radars and communication systems of combat aircraft, which attack targets in the Syrian territory, in the regions over the waters of the Mediterranean Sea bordering with Syria," said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

He proceeded to say that Moscow had halted the delivery of S-300s to Damascus back in 2013 at Israel's request, but the situation around the delivery has changed "through no fault of Russia."

The shoot-down of a Russian IL-20 electronic intelligence plane last week resulted in an immediate "live-fire drill" by Russian Naval Forces in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. In view of those drills, all military aircraft from . . . . Israel . . . . were denied the ability to fly at any altitude below 19,000 feet.

Israel tested Russia's intentions and two Russian jets intercepted and forced Israeli F-16's back into Israeli air space.

NOW, those live-fire drills will be ending on September 26 and we have the Russian defense Minister saying they are keeping the air space above Syrian Territorial waters closed to all air traffic, AND will now be JAMMING military communications in that same area.

Israel is reportedly going out of its mind that they can no longer attack targets inside Syria with impunity. Word in the Intelligence Community is that the Israelis view Russia as interfering with their defense, and the interference may require Israel to launch a FIRST STRIKE upon Russian forces in Syria to neutralize them and take out the rest of Syria.

As reported on Saturday, September 22, Russia has responded to this Intel by moving TACTICAL NUCLEAR WARHEADS for their Kalibr Missiles, into Syria. Those warheads arrived Sunday afternoon. This information was contained in an UPDATE to a story, HERE.

Things are going "wild weasel" in the Middle East. The world is literally on a precipice overlooking an abyss.

Russian Jets INTERCEPT U.S. F-22 Over Syria

A Russian Su-35S air-superiority fighter jet of Russia’s Aerospace Force has intercepted and visually identified the U.S. F-22 Raptor Raptor combat aircraft flying over Syria.

Photographs, made by the infrared search and track fire control system of the Russian Su-35S, shows in infrared spectrum, an F-22 Raptor fighter jet flying over Syria.

The Su-35S infrared search and track system called the OLS-35 and includes an infrared sensor, laser rangefinder, target designator and television camera. This system to determine the general position of aircraft within a fifty-kilometer radius—potentially quite useful for detecting stealth aircraft, such as F-22, at shorter ranges.
The systems scans the airspace ahead of the jet for heat signatures caused by aircraft engines and/or plane’s surface friction caused by the aircraft flying through the air.
According to the Deagel.com, OLS-35 comprises a heat-seeker, a laser rangefinder/designator with new algorithms and advanced software to outperform its predecessor installed on the Su-27/Su-30 aircraft family. The Su-35 IRST is superior to the OEPS-27 in terms of range, precision and reliability.
But, the Su-35’s infrared search and track system (IRST) does not represent a panacea solution against stealth aircraft.
The OLS-35, like and other IRST, does not provide target quality track data for weapons employment. For example, if a Russian Su-35 fighter jet detected an approaching forward aspect F-22, the Russian pilot could not directly utilize the IRST data to direct semi-active, active, or passive homing missiles; laser illumination capabilities are generally a means to guide air-to-ground munitions rather than air-to-air missiles.

Russian Su-35 Pilot Says He Intercepted US F-22 Raptor Over Syria

24 September, 2018
The well-known military analysis site Defence-Blog reported on Monday that a Russian Su-35S fighter jet intercepted a U.S. F-22 Raptor combat aircraft over Syria recently. If confirmed it would be hugely significant given the fact that the F-22 is the Pentagon's most advanced stealth fighter.

The report originated through a retired Russian pilot's Instagram account and was subsequently analyzed by Defence Blog; however the Pentagon is denying the accuracy the claim. The Russian pilot reportedly flies an Su-35, considered Russia's top jet fighter, and the pilot posted pictures claiming to show a US F-22 Raptor stealth jet flying above Syria, with the Russian pilot in firing position.

The Su-35 pilot claims to have locked on to the F-22 during the intercept and has posted the photos as proof, but neither Russia nor the US has acknowledged the event

Image posted Monday to a Su-35 pilot's Instagram account.

Photographs, made by the infrared search and track fire control system of the Russian Su-35S, shows in (SIC) infrared spectrum an F-22 Raptor fighter jet flying over Syria,” the Defence Blog reported.

The technical details as to how the Su-35 could have located the stealth fighter are summarized by Defence Blog as follows:

The Su-35S infrared search and track system called the OLS-35 and includes an infrared sensor, laser rangefinder, target designator and television camera. This system to determine the general position of aircraft within a fifty-kilometer radius—potentially quite useful for detecting stealth aircraft, such as F-22, at shorter ranges.
The systems scans the airspace ahead of the jet for heat signatures caused by aircraft engines and/or plane’s surface friction caused by the aircraft flying through the air.

The infrared search and track system is further identified as a recent upgrade to the Russian fighters, and though the F-22's stealth wasn't necessarily breached, the Russian heat-sensing system could theoretically narrow the stealth plane down to a targetable position at close range.

But military analysts have described attempting to track a stealth aircraft with the capabilities of the F-22 with this type of thermal imaging technology like "looking through a drinking straw."

F-22 Fighter via US Air Force

The Russian pilot provided the following commentary with the post, according to Business Insider's translation"F-22 was arrogant and was punished after a short air battle, for which of course it got fucked."

Meanwhile a Pentagon official has responded to the claim, suggesting it's Russian disinformation:
Pentagon spokesman Eric Pahon told Business Insider that he was "unable to verify the claims made on Instagram," but pointed out that "Russia has been conducting a concentrated disinformation campaign in Syria to sow confusion and undercut US and allied efforts there."

Should the lock have occurred, the US F-22 pilot would have been alerted by the enemy weapon; however, it's likely not something the Pentagon would have every wanted publicized.

Over the past week, the skies over Syria have become significantly more dangerous after the last Tuesday downing of a Russian reconnaissance plane with 15 crew members on board in a case of "friendly" fire following confusion amidst large-scale Israeli air strikes on Syria.

Russia on Monday announced it plans to supply Damascus with its advanced S-300 anti-aircraft system, which both Israeli and US officials have called a serious provocation.

The Saker on today's decision by Russia

Russia will establish an unofficial no-fly zone over Syria

Saker drawing from community
24 September, 2018

Today Defense Minster Shoigu announced measures which went far beyond what I had hoped for.  Specifically, Shoigu has announced that Russia will
  1. Supply S-300 air defense systems (with a 250km range) to the Syrians in the next two weeks.
  2. Russia will deliver advanced automated air defense management systems which will *dramatically* increase the Syrian air defense capabilities and prevent future “friendly fire” incidents.
  3. Russia will use her electronic warfare capabilities to suppress satellite navigation, onboard radar systems and communications of warplanes attacking targets on Syrian territory in the regions over the waters of the Mediterranean Sea bordering with Syria.
This is a very flexible and elegant solution for the following reasons:
  1. It establishes a de facto air exclusion zone over Syria, but not a de jure one.  Thus, the Russians will have the flexibility to decide on a nation by nation and aircraft by aircraft basis which aircraft should be suppressed/engaged and which ones to only track and monitor.  This will give Russia a very powerful negotiating position with all the actors of this war.
  2. It goes without saying that while these new capabilities will be deployed in Syria in response to the Israeli actions, they will also dramatically boost the Syrian capabilities against any potential aggressors including the USA and US client states.  The S-300s will make it possible for the Syrian to detect and even track the Israeli aircraft right after their take-off and while still in Israeli air space.
  3. While the Russians have not indicated which automated air defense management system they plan to deliver to Syria, it is likely that this is one which is typically used to control the engagement of S-300 and Buk air defense systems, the Poliana D-4.  The delivery of this system will dramatically increase the air defense capabilities of the Russian task force in Syria making it much harder for Neocon Ã  la Bolton to target Russian forces.
I have to admit that I am surprised by the magnitude and quality of this response.  Clearly, the arrogance of the Israelis did not pay off and this time their usual chutzpah was met with a great deal of Russian anger (albeit carefully controlled anger).  For Bibi Netanyahu, the Russian reaction is an absolute disaster because it undermines his entire policy towards Syria (and Lebanon and Iran).  The Israeli strikes (over 200, of which they bothered to notify Russia in only about 10% of the cases) did not yield any tangible benefit for Israel, but has now fundamentally undermined Israel’s relationship with Russia.  As I have said it many times, for all their self-serving propaganda about being so smart, the Israelis are actually pretty incompetent being blinded, as they are, by their quasi infinite arrogance.
However, please keep in mind that in warfare there is no such thing as a magical silver bullet.  For one thing, the Israelis will still have the option of attacking targets in Syria (be it by using aircraft, or missiles, including sea based), but the difficulty of successfully executing such an attack will increase by an order of magnitude.  The same also goes for the US/NATO/CENTOM/etc.  One option would be to go for a saturation attack by using very large number of missiles since the Syrian and Russian capabilities are still limited by numbers: even in an ideal situation (excluding EW capabilities), that is even if the kill ratio of Russian missiles is 1:1, the Russians will only be able to shoot down as many enemy missiles as their supplies allow.  The US+Israeli missiles supplies in the region are far bigger.
Second, both the US and Israelis have very sophisticated EW warfare capabilities and rest assured that they will use them if needed.  Yes, the Russians are qualitatively ahead of other countries in this field, but one should never under-estimate the capabilities of the bad guys.
Third, the AngloZionists will now do one of three things: either pretend that they don’t care and basically accept the situation on the ground like they did in South Ossetia and Crimea, or try to negotiate some kind of deal with the Russians, or react with hysterical threats and provocation in the hope that the Russians will blink.  While we can hope for option #1, we also have to realize that options #2 and #3 are far more likely.  In other words, this is far from over.
Finally, this latest news conclusively debunks the notion that Putin is a doormat or sellout and that the Russians are either unable or unwilling to oppose the AngloZionists.  All those who have accused Putin of being Israel’s shabboy goy are going to be busy removing eggs from their collective face.  The fact that the Russians took their time to analyze what happened and prepare a response was not a symptom of their weakness, but of their responsible behavior in a most dangerous situation.  Furthermore, the Russian response also shows that once national security issues are at stake, the Atlantic Integrationist 5th column still has to yield to the Eurasian Sovereignists.  This, by itself, is a very good and reassuring development.

Has Russia declared a "no-fly zone" in the Eastern Meditteranean until 26 Setember?

TRUE? Unconfirmed Report ”Russian Navy Has Closed The Eastern Mediterranean” (MAP)

19 September, 2018

FRN is still looking for further confirmation of the following story.

In response to the what Putin has called a ‘tragic incident’ that caused the death of the crew of the radio reconnaissance aircraft and the IL-20 VKS RF warhead, Rusvesna reports that the Russian military has made a major move.
Effective September 19th, the Russian Federation has announced the closure of a large area of the eastern Mediterranean for the movement of military aircraft and ships until the 26th of September.
According to the official version, this step is justified by the beginning of unscheduled maneuvers of the navy and aviation off the coast of Syria.
In the meantime Hal Turner is claiming this Russians have announcd a no-fly-zone while military exrercises are on.

RUSSIA IMPOSES "NO-FLY" ZONE FOR ISRAELI MILITARY AIRCRAFT AROUND SYRIA

 *** BULLETIN ***

IRAN 747 IN THE AIR RIGHT NOW BRINGING S-300 ANTI-AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TO SYRIA !

SEE BOTTOM UPDATE
The Russian government has informed Israel that, as a consequence of their actions which resulted in the shoot-down of a Russia IL-20 Electronic Intelligence aircraft, Russia is imposing a NO FLY ZONE for Israeli military aircraft around Syria.
This No Fly zone will be from Flight level 000 to Flight Level 190 until September 26.
Any Israeli military aircraft operating outside the sovereign territory of Israel in violation of this No Fly Zone risks being shot down.
The Russian government has instructed 14 Russian Naval Vessels in the Mediterranean to begin enforcing this immediately.

This is a developing story . . . check back for updates.

UPDATE 12:44 PM EDT --

Russia has issued a Notice to Airmen and Mariners (NOTAM) for the airspace around Israel being CLOSED below 19,000 feet . . . for a Russian Naval Missile "Exercise."
Here is the official NOTAM:
The RESULT of this is interesting:  If Israeli war planes fly below 19,000 feet, they risk being shot down by Russian Naval Vessels "accidentally" during this "exercise."   In order to avoid that, the Israeli planes must fly above 19,000 feet, which makes them sitting ducks for Syria's old S-200 anti-aircraft missile defenses.
The Israelis really screwed the pooch when they had their fighter jets hide behind the Russian IL-20 to launch missiles at Syria.  When the Syrian air defenses saw those missiles coming in, they locked onto the Russian IL-20 which was much bigger than the Israeli fighter jets which actually launched the missiles.
The Israelis knew exactly what they were doing because they did not inform Russia of their pending attack via the Hotline between the two countries until ONE MINUTE before the Israeli planes launched their missiles.

UPDATE 12:55 EDT --

This morning, Russia asked Iran for permission to station Russian fighter Jets, bobers and refueling tankers at the Nojeh Military Air Base in northwestern Iran as seen on the map below:
This positioning of such equipment will allow Russia full air superiority over ALL of Syria 24/7.

UPDATE 1:12 PM EDT --

 *** BULLETIN ***

IRAN 747 IN THE AIR RIGHT NOW BRINGING S-300 ANTI-AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TO SYRIA ! ! !

With the Russians having imposed a "NO-FLY" Zone against Israel, they are now unable to attack this shipment for at least a week without having their war planes shot down.  And in that week, the S-300 systems can be installed, set-up, tested, and made active  . . . . which then allows Syria to shoot down planes as far away as INSIDE ISRAEL.

This was a "Red Line" for the Israelis a year ago, and their sneaky actions which caused a Russian plane to be accidentally shot down, have now come back to bite them in the ass.  With these new S-300 systems, Israel will no longer be able to attack Syria with impunity.
This is, by far, the largest escalation of events inside Syria in recent memory.  This is a DISASTER for Israel; and they've brought it upon themselves.

UPDATE 4:13 PM EDT --

The United States Navy has notified all its vessels and aircraft of the following NO-FLY zones near Syria:

Is Russia mulling a no-fly zone in Syria

I find the social views of Hal Turner pretty obnoxious and I avoid that like the plague.

However, that does not make him wrong on these geopolitical issues and, taking into account his biases, I have found him a useful source but one which needs to be treated with caution and cross-checked with other reliable sources.

I am not sure if this is 'confirmation bias' on my part – I WANT Russia to start standing up to the neo-con bullies.

As Paul Craig Roberts pointed out in a recent interview if they DON'T there will be more attacks, Russia will be forced into a corner and then a major war becomes inevitable

Covert Intel: Squadron of SU-35s To Syria - Russia mulling "No-Fly" Zone, Ouster of U.S.A.

Hal Turner,
27 April, 2018

An entire squadron of Russian Su-35S has already been deployed by the Russian Air Force in Syria, at the Khmeimim air base.

After a long period when the Russian Air Force's (RuAF) only aircraft in Syria were the Su-30SM, Russian Staff decided to return the Su-35S to large numbers for the first time.
Four Su-35s were already at Khmeimim AB as of April 21 (Photo Below).  Four more arrived this week via Iran. By May 1, it is expected  total of 12 Su-35S (a full Squadron) will be inside Syria.

This is a very big development.  The Su-35S nickname is "the Slayer" and the ability of this aircraft versus American F-22 Raptors and even F-35's is terrifyingly effective.  The Su-35S can shoot down both the F-22 and the F-35.
The questions being asked in the Intelligence Community are:
1) Why THESE particular planes, AND;
2) Why now?
The answers seem very clear.
Russia: is fed-up with the west attacking Syria on false pretenses, while publicly claiming Assad can remain President, but actually continuing to effort his ouster

S-300

Russia has decided to arm Syria with the S-300 surface-to-air missile system.  Israel has publicly stated they will attack and destroy those systems.
This is Reason #1 for the arrival of Su-35s; Russia is preparing to defend the S-300 systems from Israeli attacks, by making certain they have aircraft that can shoot down the Israeli (or American) F-35's.
Here is an Intel Photo of the "New Arrivals" -- four more Su-35s in Syria:

How Things Escalated to This

On April 13, the US, UK and France launched another missile attack upon Syria, as punishment for an alleged "Chemical weapons attack."  The claims of such an attack were in the form of Youtube videos from a Humanitarian aid group calling itself "The White Helmets."
Instead of waiting for Inspectors from the Organization for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to analyze the alleged attack scene and report back, the US, UK and France simply attacked, saying the evidence was irrefutable.  Turns out, the "evidence" was completely fabricated and totally false.
There was no chemical weapons attack.  No one was treated for symptoms connected to chemical weapons.  No one died from chemical weapons.
The people seen in the videos taken by the "White Helmets" have since been interviewed and they make clear "There was no attack"  they go on to say they were told by "screaming people" to "get to the hospital" and upon entering, they were immediately doused with water by staff, all of whom had been told by the "White Helmets" that chemical attack victims were coming in.
While all this chaos was taking place, others from the "White Helmets" were taking videos . . . of children being doused with water and given inhalers, of infants crying in fear, of parents terrified they were going to die.
It was ALL false; a complete made-for-video lie, fabricated by the "White Helmets."
Russian officials brought fifteen people to The Hague from the city of Douma, Syria, said to have been present during the alleged April 7 chemical attack - including  11-year-old Hassan Diab, who was seen in a widely-distributed video taken by the controversian NGO organization known as the "White Helmets," who filmed themselves giving Diab "emergency treatment" after the alleged incident.
We were at the basement and we heard people shouting that we needed to go to a hospital. We went through a tunnel. At the hospital they started pouring cold water on me,” said Diab, who was featured in the video which Russia's ambassador to the Netherlands says was staged.
The boy and his family have spoken to various media outlets, who say there was no attack.   Here, watch the actual child talk to TV reporters:

Others present during the filming of Diab's hospital "cleanup" by the White Helmets include hospital administrator Ahmad Kashoi, who runs the emergency ward.
There were people unknown to us who were filming the emergency care, they were filming the chaos taking place inside, and were filming people being doused with water. The instruments they used to douse them with water were originally used to clean the floors actually,” Ahmad Kashoi, an administrator of the emergency ward, recalled. “That happened for about an hour, we provided help to them and sent them home. No one has died. No one suffered from chemical exposure.” -RT

Also speaking at The Hague was Halil al-Jaish, an emergency worker who treated people at the Douma hospital the day of the attack - who said that while some patients did come in for respiratory problems, they were attributed to heavy dust, present in the air after recent airstrikes, but that nobody showed signs of chemical warfare poisoning.
The hospital received people who suffered from smoke and dust asphyxiation on the day of the alleged attack, Muwaffak Nasrim, a paramedic who was working in emergency care, said. The panic seen in footage provided by the White Helmets was caused mainly by people shouting about the alleged use of chemical weapons, Nasrim, who witnessed the chaotic scenes, added. No patients, however, displayed symptoms of chemical weapons exposure, he said. -RT

Emergency paramedic Ahmad Saur who is with the Syrian Red Crescent, said that his hospital ward did not receive any patients exposed to chemical weapons the day of the alleged incident, and that all the patients either needed general medical care or help with injuries.

That said, none of these people's testimony will make it into the "official record" as it currently stands. Russia's permanent representative to the OPCW, Aleksandr Shulgin, said that the OPCW has already interviewed six alleged Douma witnesses brought to The Hague , and they won't interview any more.
The others were ready too, but the experts are sticking to their own guidelinesThey’ve picked six people, talked to them, and said they were 'completely satisfied' with their account and did not have any further questions"  -Aleksandr Shulgin

Shulgin also said that "certain Western countries" accusing Russia and Syria of trying to "hide" witnesses to the attack is not true.
Meanwhile, the West - unhappy with this unexpected diversion to its narrative - has called the Russian press conference a "stunt" - with Britain and France both denouncing it as an "obscene masquerade."
This obscene masquerade does not come as a surprise from the Syrian government, which has massacred and gassed its own people for the last seven years,” said France’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Philippe Lalliot.
"The OPCW is not a theatre," Britain's envoy to the agency, Peter Wilson, said in a statement. "Russia's decision to misuse it is yet another Russian attempt to undermine the OPCW's work, and in particular the work of its fact-finding mission investigating chemical weapons use in Syria."
In other words, the West is happy to bomb a sovereign nation based on nothing more than non-public "evidence" suspected to have been staged and provided by the White Helmets, but when actual residents of Douma show up to tell their side of it, they are condemned as an "obscene masquerade" and denied an opportunity to submit their testimony on the record. Sounds about right for the military industrial complex which if nothing else scored a few extra billion in procurement contracts thanks to the latest farcical attack on Syria.

RUSSIA SEES THROUGH THIS BULLSHIT

Russia is not going to tolerate even one more such fiasco.
This is reason #2, for the arrival of more Su-35s aircraft; the Russians have made it explicitly clear that any additional attacks upon Syria will result in immediate, direct, confrontation.    The Russians see that a very serious fight is on the horizon.

NO-FLY ZONE

DEEP COVERT INTEL says that Russia is also actively deciding whether or not to impose a NO-FLY ZONE in Syria.  The decision has NOT yet been made.
If the decision is made, it will go something like this:  The Syrian Government will formally announce that all US and coalition troops, planes and weapons must leave Syria within "X" amount of time.  As the lawful government of Syria, they have the authority to do this; it is, after all, THEIR country.
The US and its partners will either gripe, whine, complain . . .  then leave, or:
We will refuse to leaveat which time Syria (and Russia) will impose a NO-FLY Zone in Syrian air space.  Again, it is THEIR country and they have the authority to do this.
It is expected the US and its coalition partners will ignore the NO-FLY Zone, and at that point, having been warned in advance, one or more of the US/Coalition aircraft WILL be shot down.
Once that happens, the gloves come off and both sides go to war - directly -  INSIDE SYRIA.  Whether it goes beyond Syria's borders is unknown right now, but this is why the US has begun ADDING troops and weapons into Syria; the US sees a serious fight coming as well.

REGIONAL WAR WITHIN WEEKS

If direct confrontation breaks-out, it is HIGHLY LIKELY to immediately expand beyond Syria's borders, because the Israeli maniacs will undertake strikes, which will result in Israel itself being struck; either by Syrian S-300's, Syrian or Russian Aircraft or Iranian assets.
Once that takes place, we've got an instant "regional war" on our hands.
Oil prices will immediately spike back to over $100 a barrel; shipping lanes in the Persian Gulf may be affected; especially if Israel targets Iranian assets in Syria and Iran targets  . . . . . anything . . . . inside Israel.
This is a powder keg developing in the Middle East and it looks as though certain elements of the US Government WANT a big war to break out.  This will not end well.

The Clueless

The average American has no clue whatsoever that this is coming.  They remain blissfully ignorant, distracted by bread and circuses, and kept in the dark by a mass-media that is so disgustingly incompetent (and arguably corrupt) they're too busy "spinning" political meaning in stories, to cover and REAL news.
As a Subscriber to this web site, YOU have the type of keen intellect necessary to survive what is likely coming.  If there are folks you care about, whom you think MIGHT have the mental ability to grasp what's taking place here, please refer them to this site.  Tell them the two bucks they spend for ONE DAY access, just might save their loves.
They might even find value to this list of Preparations to make
Sadly, many of our fellow Americans are so literally "dumbed-down" by our failed public school system, that most of them simply do not have the ability to think critically, and see the writing on the wall.  But at least you can TRY to educate them - even if they just don't have the mental capacity to.

So important I regard this interview with Paul Craig Roberts (recorded BEFORE the US/UK/French airstrikes) that I am reposting it
You can judge the importance by the fact that less than 24 hours after listening to the interview it has been REMOVED from You Tube so I have extracted the audio from a website.

I listened to this interview, recorded on the 12 April, before the US/UK/French airstrikes, with rapt attention last night. It was as if Dr. Roberts was expressing every thought or fear I have. I agreed with his every word.

If I could summarise what he said briefly it would be this:

"Russia is acting according to the highest moral values in bending over backwards to prevent WW3 but in so doing they are acting in a way that makes a hot war more likely."

Put even more simply “damned if they do and damned if they don’t”.

Another predicament.

Paul Craig Roberts: Ten Days to Armageddon?

"The American, British and French governments know they're lying through their teeth... and they're using these [orchestrated] events to take the world to war, the outcome of which could be annihilation."—PCR

We are joined once again by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, former US Assistant Secretary to the Treasury for Economic Policy, for a discussion on the current international crisis focused on Syria.

As the war drums continue to beat in the West, Dr. Roberts presents various scenarios that he believes could play out in the coming days, expressing the hope that a catastrophic chain of events leading to WWIII could possibly be prevented by Russia acting swiftly and boldly to escort the USS Donald Cook out of range and marking a line in the waters. Dr. Roberts also gives his reaction to the alleged chemical attack in Douma, and considers the role of the Skripal Affair in the unfolding narrative of lies. (Interview conducted 12 April 2018)
