Bubomic plague in Inner Mongolia

This, along with an engineered pandemic, plagues of locusts,

ebola in Africa has a distinctly biblical feel about it.

Bubonic plague outbreak in

Inner Mongolia

Chinese public health officials urged travellers to the rural areas and grassland

in Inner Mongolia to step up personal protections after a city in the autonomous

region reported a case of bubonic plague over the weekend.

People should not get close to or eat wild animals, nor camp in the grassland

overnight, said Pang Xinghuo, vice-director of the Beijing Centre for Disease

Prevention and Control, told a news conference on Monday.

Anyone who runs a temperature should report his or her travel history to the

grassland or any contact with wild animals to doctors, Pang urged.

She also reminded doctors and nurses to familiarise themselves with the

symptoms of the plague and to strengthen their patient inquiries to trace any

travel history for "accurate and timely diagnosis and handling".

A 15 year-old boy has died of bubonic plague in Mongolia, according to the

country's health ministry.

The National Centre for Zoonotic Diseases (NCZD) said the teenager from the

western province of Govi-Altai had died from eating marmot meat.

A quarantine has now been put in place on five districts in the province, which

shares a border with China.

"The result of a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test revealed on Monday night

that bubonic plague caused the death of a 15-year-old boy," Dorj Narangerel, a

spokesperson for the health ministry, told a press conference.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has warned “against all but

essential international travel” to Mongolia. This comes as the Chinese region of

Inner Mongolia confirmed a case of suspected bubonic plague on Saturday.

As a result, the city of Bayan Nur’s health committee issued an alert in a bid to

contain the outbreak.

The third-level alert bans the hunting and eating of animals that could possibly

carry the plague.

It also asks that the public report any sick or dead marmots in the area.

The FCO said: “There have been isolated incidents of bubonic plague in some

areas of Mongolia, plague is caught by consuming marmot meat.

The meat is a delicacy in some rural areas although it is illegal to hunt for

marmot in Mongolia.

In travelling through rural areas [in Mongolia], you should avoid marmot meat

and take precautionary actions on bubonic plague.”

Last November, four cases of the plague were reported from Inner Mongolia.

Two of the people were infected with pneumonic plague which is reportedly a

deadlier case of the plague.

Is there a cover-up of coronavirus cases in New York?

Watching information coming out is making me worried that there are far more cases than they are letting on.

Who are they? Are they only Chinese?

Some of this relies on anecdote rather than carefully fact-checked information.

That is a reflection of the times we are living in. I have spent a little time in the former Soviet Union and can say that in societies the only way people could get information was by 'reading between the lines' in the press and by rumours that spread like wildfire.

We are living through this right now. The official press cannot be relied on at all (and state-owned media like the BBC and Radio NZ are the worst offenders).

Most people do not realise that they are living in a fascist state let alone developing the ability to 'read between the lines'.

And that would be a gross understatement.

NEW YORK ISSUES GAG
ORDER TO POLICE AND
E.M.S. - NO TALK TO
ANYONE ABOUT
CORONAVIRUS CASES

16 February, 2020

There are now allegedly CONFIRMED coronavirus cases in Watertown, Buffalo and Rochester New York. HOWEVER, New York State has issued a GAG ORDER to Health care professionals, police, fire and EMS, forbidding them from talking to anyone in any form, about confirmed or suspected cases of Coronavirus.

According to the local citizen, multiple confirmed cases of Coronavirus are at DeGraf Memorial Hospital in North Tonowanda and no one is allowed to talk about it.

The video below tells the story

Highly contagious disease running rampant, you know the testing is not accurate, you know 5 million people fled Wuhan and there are China towns down state. Some people get mild symptoms and don’t report but they are spreading it. And this Health Commissioner wants everyone to all just act normal?....[ ]

Man under medical observation after admitting to Peace Bridge officers he was recently in China

13 February, 2020

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man who was detained at the Peace Bridge because of an outstanding warrant then taken to the Erie County Holding Center in Buffalo is now under medical observation because of his recent visit to China.

This is due to the novel coronavirus and the worldwide concern it has caused.

Kevin Qiu is a Brooklyn resident who is assessed as a “medium risk” individual for the virus, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, which emphasizes that Qiu is not symptomatic. The sheriff’s office states that precautions are in place until either his release or a decision on extradition is made.

Qiu, 42, tried to enter the United States on Wednesday, and at that time, a health screening was performed on him after he told customs officers about his visit to China, which is the epicenter of the virus outbreak.

Qiu was then taken to the holding center in downtown Buffalo because of a fugitive warrant out of Chester County, to the west of Philadelphia.

Authorities in Pennsylvania then dropped the warrant pending against Qiu, meaning he’ll be released from sheriff’s custody, as News 4 learned in court on Friday. Qiu will then be under the watch of the State Health Department for medical monitoring.

The Sheriff’s Office notified the New York State Department of Health and the Erie County Department of Health, and all parties are working to establish protocols, precautions, and protections for jail staff and other inmates.

Jail management has taken appropriate measures to ensure the health and welfare of other inmates and staff. In the meantime, medical professionals will be monitoring Qiu’s temperature and other vitals on a set schedule.

The Sheriff’s Office has notified the New York State Commission of Correction. The Erie County Sheriff’s Office has communicated with Chester County, Pennsylvania and authorizes express that they will not take custody of Mr Qiu. He will be released when the paper work is complete and the proper health departments are notified.

The following is a voice message left on the phone of Dr. Paul Cottrell.

I have ascertained that he is not a medical doctor but a researcher and financial adviser.

Admission: Coronavirus may infect 2/3 of world population!!

In Shocking Admission,
WHO Advisor Says
Coronavirus May Infect Over
5 Billion People

13 February, 2020

In yet another sign of the World Health Organization's about-face on the coronavirus outbreak, a top epidemiologist and advisor to the organization said Thursday that if the virus isn't contained soon, it could infect 60% of the global population - or more than 5 billion people - echoing projections made by a Hong Kong scientist who was once labeled an alarmist despite his pioneering work in the fight against SARS.
According to Bloomberg, that's what WHO advisor Ira Longini said after finishing a study of the virus's transmissibility. His estimates suggest that the virus could one day infect billions of people, far more than the ~60,000 or so cases as of earlier on Thursday.
If the virus truly has a mortality rate of 2% (around the low end of current estimates), at this rate, it would kill more than 100 million.
Of course, if the virus manages to spread so widely, it will unequivocally prove that China's draconian quarantines weren't effective enough, and that the government effectively set itself up for failure when it hesitated to try and contain the outbreak after it first emerged in Wuhan late last year.
Ira Longini
In recent days, Dr. Tedros, the WHO's director-general, has warned that we might be seeing only "the tip of the iceberg" in terms of cases, and that a new rash of infections in Europe could lead to another widespread outbreak.
Longini based his numbers on an r-sub-zero of between 2 and 3, meaning that the average infected person will spread the virus to two or three other people.
In recent days, growing attention has been paid to the lack of reliable virus tests, not just in China, but in virtually all countries where the virus has spread. The difficulties in diagnosing the virus could mean we see another sudden surge of cases - but this time, it could be even larger than last night's dump from officials in Hubei.
Even if we could find a way to reduce the virus's ability to spread by half, it would could still wind up infecting more than 2 billion people.
"Unless the transmissibility changes, surveillance and containment can only work so well," Longini, co-director of the Center for Statistics and Quantitative Infectious Diseases at the University of Florida, said in an interview at WHO headquarters in Geneva. “Isolating cases and quarantining contacts is not going to stop this virus."
Longini, a researcher and scientist who has spent his entire career focusing on infectious diseases, is hardly the only scientist making dire warnings.
Neil Ferguson, a researcher at Imperial College London, estimated that as many as 50,000 people may be infected each day in China, and more recently warned that we could still be in the "preliminary stages" of the outbreak.
CORONAVIRUS: Professor Neil Ferguson states on the COVID-19 Outbreak “We’re at the eary stages of a global pandemic” (BBC News)
Even Dr. Feigl Ding is finding that the public is taking his warnings seriously after he was branded as an alarmist.
As always, other scientists warned that the situation is in flux, and readers should take these findings with a grain of salt before they panic.
The estimates of spread are part of a spectrum of possibilities that could unfold as the epidemic progresses, said Alessandro Vespignani, a biostatistician at Northeastern University in Boston. The next few weeks may provide more information about how easily the disease spreads outside China, particularly if more measures are put in place to control it, he said.
"People change behaviors" in response to disease, he said. "This is kind of a worst-case scenario. It’s one of the possibilities."
But as Dr. Tedros said earlier this week, it's still early days. And if Beijing doesn't start being a little more honest with the international community, we might not be able to take the necessary steps to combat the spread until it's too late.

Competing narratives.
Despite the above this is what the propaganda "news" site, the BBC is saying.
