US launches airstrike against Iranian-backed forces in Syria

US strike in Syria at Biden's orders destroys 'multiple facilities' of 'Iranian-backed militia' - Pentagon

RT,
25 February, 2021

The US has targeted Iran-backed militia in Syria, the Pentagon confirmed, adding that the airstrikes were approved by US President Joe Biden and intended as reprisal for rocket attacks on US bases in Iraq.

“At President Biden’s direction US military forces earlier this evening conducted airstrikes against infrastructure utilized by Iranian backed militant groups in eastern Syria,” the Pentagon’s spokesman John Kirby said in a statement. The attack took place around 6 pm Eastern time on Thursday.

Kirby echoed earlier media reports that the bombing of the Syrian territory was in retaliation to “recent attacks against American and coalition personnel in Iraq.” He further argued that the raids were aimed at defusing the tensions in the Middle East.

At the same time, we have acted in a deliberate manner that aims to deescalate the overall situation in both Eastern Syria and Iraq.

Kirby claimed that the strikes inflicted serious damage on the infrastructure of “a number of Iranian backed militant groups including Kait’ib Hezbollah and Kait’ib Sayyid al Shuhad,” noting that “multiple facilities” were destroyed.

Unconfirmed reports from Syria spoke of explosions near Al-Bukamal, a town in the Deir-ez-Zor province near the border with Iraq.

The reported airstrikes come after a series of rocket attacks on the Green Zone in Baghdad, the Balad Air Base and the Erbil International Airport in Iraq over the past two weeks. No group has claimed responsibility and the Pentagon has not officially blamed anyone.

This is not the first time the US has blamed Iran for attacks on American troops and contractors in neighboring Iraq. After one contractor died, the Trump administration targeted the Kataib Hezbollah militia and other Shia Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), which culminated in the drone assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, in January 2020.

Biden himself led the chorus of Democrats who denounced President Donald Trump’s move at the time, saying he “tossed a stick of dynamite into a tinderbox.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) had said the Soleimani strike risked “provoking further dangerous escalation of violence” and was undertaken without congressional authorization.

US launches airstrikes in Syria

Hal Turner,

25 February, 2021

The U.S. military carried out an airstrike against what is being called an Iranian-backed militia stronghold in Syria Thursday, a senior official reveals to the Hal Turner Show.

In the first known military action by (Illegitimate) President Biden, multiple facilities were struck in the air attack that targeted Iraqi border-based Shia militia groups, Kata’ib Hezbollah and Kata’ib Sayyid al Shuhada.

Both forces "are suspected" of having received funding and military support from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard.

The senior security official said the strike was a defensive strategy, intended to halt and deter future rocket attacks by the militia group recently seen in Iraq.

The Defense Department confirms the strikes.

Initially, reports began emanating from inside Syria of explosions around Al-Bukamal in the vicinity of Imam Ali Base.

Pentagon confirms targeting and destruction of several Iranian-backed Kait’ib Hezbollah and Kait’ib Sayyid al Shuhada positions near the border.

Intel says there are casualties but the number is not known. Vehicles may also have been targeted. Unfortunately hard to know for sure what happened.

UPDATE 8:39 PM EST --

Three airstrikes have reportedly hit the customs buildings at the border crossing at Bukamal.  File image of that area appears below:

It was just ONE WEEK AGO that this web site warned that after Biden's "inauguration" the US military immediately stepped-up convoys into Syria, and that "war was back on the menu."   At the time, NO OTHER MEDIA SITE warned so explicitly.  Here we are, a mere WEEK later, and it is beginning.

Here is the story which warned what was being set up in Syria and the Middle East:

The Pentagon's $600mn in contracts for ‘5G dual-use EXPERIMENTATION’

Pentagon to dish out $600mn in contracts for ‘5G dual-use EXPERIMENTATION’ at 5 US military sites, including to 'aid lethality'

RT,
9 October, 2020

The US military has partnered with more than a dozen companies for “large-scale experimentation” with 5G technology, including efforts to enhance the “lethality” of certain systems, in what’s slated to be a $600 million project.

Dubbing 5G tech a “foundational enabler for all US defense modernization,” the Pentagon announced the massive research initiative on Thursday, which will hand hundreds of millions to 15 private contractors to conduct testing at five US military installations.

“Today, the Department of Defense announced $600 million in awards for 5G experimentation and testing at five US military test sites, representing the largest full-scale 5G tests for dual-use applications in the world,” the Pentagon said in a statement, adding that it would bring together experts from several industries and disciplines.

Projects will include piloting 5G-enabled augmented/virtual reality for mission planning and training, testing 5G-enabled Smart Warehouses, and evaluating 5G technologies to enhance distributed command and control.

Firms selected for the project include telecoms AT&T, Nokia and Ericsson, intelligence and infotech contractor Booz-Allen Hamilton, the research wing of General Electric, GE Research, and a subsidiary of aerospace giant General Dynamics.

One effort spearheaded by AT&T at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada will apply 5G to “distributed command and control” systems in order to “aid in Air, Space, and Cyberspace lethality,” enhancing communications for mobile command centers in combat scenarios.

At Washington state’s Joint Base Lewis-McChord, AT&T will also work alongside Booz-Allen and two other firms to develop 5G-enabled virtual reality technology for training, mission planning and even “operational use,” though the Pentagon provided no examples of the latter application.

The costly initiative will also see testing carried out at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, a Marine Corps logistics facility in Georgia and California’s Naval Base San Diego, where the companies will develop “smart warehousing” systems and work to integrate 5G cell networks with Air Force radars.

The rapid growth of 5G technology has stoked controversy not only among the conspiracy-minded, but in the realm of geopolitics as well. The Pentagon’s vast new project comes amid an ongoing spat between the US government and Chinese telecom Huawei over its 5G services, which Washington has banned outright while pressuring a number of European allies to do the same. US officials insist the company poses a threat to both privacy and national security, despite Huawei’s repeated denials that its systems are used for data theft or espionage on behalf of Beijing.

The year 2020 marks a milestone year for the general mobile market, as the number of active smartphone users will reach 3.5 billion or around 45 percent of the entire global population, says researcher Newzoo.

According to its new Global Mobile Market report, China will account for over a quarter of the global number of smartphone users in 2020. Regions like Central-Southern Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America will steer much of that growth due to increasing smartphone penetration and improving (mobile) internet infrastructure in those areas.

The report showed that just under 200 million active smartphones will be 5G-ready by the year’s end, accounting for just five percent of the global number. That number will continue to grow, reaching 4.8 billion by 2023, with 42.7 percent of them compatible with 5G technology.

With the majority of mobile users playing games, there will be 2.5 billion mobile gamers by the end of 2020 and that number will also spike towards 2023. This year, global mobile game revenues will reach $77.2 billion, up more than 13 percent year-on-year. They are set to cross the $100-billion mark in 2023.

“5G has had some complications, but astronomical growth is coming,” said Newzoo, detailing that for 2020 and 2021, complications from Covid-19 challenged 5G’s mass deployment, “But the 5G revolution is still coming.”

A dire warning to Russia

 A dire warning to Russia

The US Pentagon has a strategy to allow Russia's access

to Iran to be destroyed in the war against Armenia prior to

nuclear war against Russia

Hal Turner delivers his message in his usual more-than-direct method and gives a

devastating picture of the war against Armenia, the oldest Christian country in the

world.

He provides a strategic  analysis in which he posits that the Deep State neocons have a policy to allow for the destruction of Armenia by Azerbaijan and Turkey along with their jihadist proxies in order to cut Russia's links with its ally Iran. He says that Russia has a very short period to react strongly to this threat and come in behind their Christian brothers in Armenia.

While some of his knowledge of the history of the region shows something to be desired in its accuracy and his analysis may seem to be overblown I think that in the current situation this message would be ignored at peril and should be placed alongside everything else we know.

Whatever you do do not believe the mainstream media - even RT and Sputnik are not going to give you any clues.

Pentagon will make some UFO findings public

No Longer in Shadows,

Pentagon’s U.F.O. Unit Will

Make Some Findings Public

For over a decade, the program, now tucked inside the Office of Naval Intelligence, has discussed mysterious events in classified briefings.

NY Times,
24 July, 2020

Despite Pentagon statements that it disbanded a once-covert program to investigate unidentified flying objects, the effort remains underway — renamed and tucked inside the Office of Naval Intelligence, where officials continue to study mystifying encounters between military pilots and unidentified aerial vehicles.

Pentagon officials will not discuss the program, which is not classified but deals with classified matters. Yet it appeared last month in a Senate committee report outlining spending on the nation’s intelligence agencies for the coming year. The report said the program, the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force, was “to standardize collection and reporting” on sightings of unexplained aerial vehicles, and was to report at least some of its findings to the public within 180 days after passage of the intelligence authorization act.

While retired officials involved with the effort — including Harry Reid, the former Senate majority leader — hope the program will seek evidence of vehicles from other worlds, its main focus is on discovering whether another nation, especially any potential adversary, is using breakout aviation technology that could threaten the United States.

Senator Marco Rubio, the Florida Republican who is the acting chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, told a CBS affiliate in Miami this month that he was primarily concerned about reports of unidentified aircraft over American military bases — and that it was in the government’s interest to find out who was responsible.

He expressed concerns that China or Russia or some other adversary had made “some technological leap” that “allows them to conduct this sort of activity.”

Mr. Rubio said some of the unidentified aerial vehicles over U.S. bases possibly exhibited technologies not in the American arsenal. But he also noted: “Maybe there is a completely, sort of, boring explanation for it. But we need to find out.”

In 2017, The New York Times disclosed the existence of a predecessor unit, called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. Defense Department officials said at the time that the unit and its $22 million in funding had lapsed after 2012.

People working with the program, however, said it was still in operation in 2017 and beyond, statements later confirmed by the Defense Department.

The program was begun in 2007 under the Defense Intelligence Agency and was then placed within the office of the undersecretary of defense for intelligence, which remains responsible for its oversight. But its coordination with the intelligence community will be carried out by the Office of Naval Intelligence, as described in the Senate budget bill. The program never lapsed in those years, but little was disclosed about the post-2017 operations.

The Pentagon program’s previous director, Luis Elizondo, a former military intelligence official who resigned in October 2017 after 10 years with the program, confirmed that the new task force evolved from the advanced aerospace program.

It no longer has to hide in the shadows,” Mr. Elizondo said. “It will have a new transparency.”

Mr. Elizondo is among a small group of former government officials and scientists with security clearances who, without presenting physical proof, say they are convinced that objects of undetermined origin have crashed on earth with materials retrieved for study.

For more than a decade, the Pentagon program has been conducting classified briefings for congressional committees, aerospace company executives and other government officials, according to interviews with program participants and unclassified briefing documents.

In some cases, earthly explanations have been found for previously unexplained incidents. Even lacking a plausible terrestrial explanation does not make an extraterrestrial one the most likely, astrophysicists say.

Mr. Reid, the former Democratic senator from Nevada who pushed for funding the earlier U.F.O. program when he was the majority leader, said he believed that crashes of objects of unknown origin may have occurred and that retrieved materials should be studied.

After looking into this, I came to the conclusion that there were reports — some were substantive, some not so substantive — that there were actual materials that the government and the private sector had in their possession,” Mr. Reid said in an interview.

No crash artifacts have been publicly produced for independent verification. Some retrieved objects, such as unusual metallic fragments, were later identified from laboratory studies as man-made

Eric W. Davis, an astrophysicist who worked as a subcontractor and then a consultant for the Pentagon U.F.O. program since 2007, said that, in some cases, examination of the materials had so far failed to determine their source and led him to conclude, “We couldn’t make it ourselves.”

The constraints on discussing classified programs — and the ambiguity of information cited in unclassified slides from the briefings — have put officials who have studied U.F.O.s in the position of stating their views without presenting any hard evidence.

Mr. Davis, who now works for Aerospace Corporation, a defense contractor, said he gave a classified briefing to a Defense Department agency as recently as March about retrievals from “off-world vehicles not made on this earth.”

Mr. Davis said he also gave classified briefings on retrievals of unexplained objects to staff members of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Oct. 21, 2019, and to staff members of the Senate Intelligence Committee two days later.

Committee staff members did not respond to requests for comment on the issue.

Public fascination with the topic of U.F.O.s has drawn in President Trump, who told his son Donald Trump Jr. in a June interview that he knew “very interesting” things about Roswell — a city in New Mexico that is central to speculation about the existence of U.F.O.s. The president demurred when asked if he would declassify any information on Roswell. “I’ll have to think about that one,” he said

Either way, Mr. Reid said, more should be made public to clarify what is known and what is not. “It is extremely important that information about the discovery of physical materials or retrieved craft come out,” he said.

Interview with the man who discovered the missing $21 trillion

$21 Trillion in Missing Money Could Trigger Meltdown – Dr. Mark Skidmore

USA Watchdog,
23 November, 2019

About two years ago, Michigan State Economics Professor Mark Skidmore revealed there was $21 trillion in what he calls “missing money” from the Department of Defense (DOD) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This was a stunning revelation and the biggest auditing discovery in the history of accounting. Dr. Skidmore, who is an expert in public finance, along with a team of academics, used publicly available government accounting reports and revealed their results in late 2017.   In the accounting world, this is like discovering the “God Particle” or discovering a cure for cancer, and, yet, academia is largely silent and ignoring this discovery by Dr. Skidmore and his team. Dr. Skidmore explains, “It’s been pretty quiet. A few people have contacted me. . . . I have asked for professional opinion and have offered to pay for it, and I had one conversation and he never responded again. . . . Similarly, I have done that with other academics to work on this issue. . . . For example, I had a dean of a major business school in the country who I know, and he has a background in both accounting and economics, and his response was ‘yes, there is something really wrong.’ Then nothing, no response to any other inquiries. . . . I haven’t been shunned–just ignored. . . . Other people just sort of weigh out the costs and benefits of the whole thing. They ask themselves what are the benefits of me chiming in on this issue, and what are the costs? They look at it and say I don’t want to be involved. Some people realize there is much more at stake here, and they just don’t want to be involved. That’s what I think is going on.”

The “missing” $21 trillion is a fact, and, yet, it has not been fully understood by the public. What happens when all Americans realize the size of dollars already printed? Skidmore says, “First of all, I don’t think this would be revealed in an official way until there was an underlying backup plan and financial structure in place. If this was acknowledged by someone on the stature of the President of the United States, which I don’t think is going to happen because risks are too high, we are so messed up, it’s possible we could have a meltdown if we don’t have some sort of plan in place to shore all of this up if there are trillions of dollars floating around that people don’t really recognize. I have to believe that other countries know about this and know what is going on and are aware (of trillions of missing money). . . . I am surprised that the global economy has functioned as well as it has for the past 10 years since the last financial crisis. Debt is keeping everything alive and afloat, but how long can we continue that? ”
In closing, Dr. Skidmore says, “The financial crisis that may come in the near future may not be the worst thing. That may be the best thing so we can reset and get a footing in reality and something that has integrity. I am concerned we won’t turn back and move in the right direction. What does it mean to my children when a government can say we can just create fake books and pretend they are real?

This sure looks like a giant fraud to me. . . . These unsupported adjustments are a sign of fraud. Why don’t we look?”

How deep does the pedophilia scandal go?

HUNDREDS of Pentagon

Officials Caught Running

Child Porn Network on

Official DOD Computers

18 July, 2019

The problem of government agents viewing horrific images and videos of child pornography on official Department of Defense computers has gotten so out of hand that bipartisan legislation has been introduced to curb the practice. Reps. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.) and Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) introduced legislation earlier this month meant to halt the epidemic of government employees viewing and sharing child porn over DOD networks and devices.
According to a report in the Hill, the End National Defense Network Abuse (END Network Abuse) was introduced in the wake of in an investigation called “Project Flicker” carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This investigation identified over 5,000 individuals, including many affiliated with DOD, who were subscribed to child porn websites.
The investigation was conducted by the Pentagon’s Defense Criminal Investigative Service and it netted hundreds of suspects who work for and are affiliated with the DOD.Let that sink in. Hundreds of government employees are using taxpayer funded official DOD networks and computers to view and share child pornography — essentially running a child porn network on a government system.
The epidemic of child pornography has gotten so out of control that these people now feel comfortable enough to use official computers and networks — they know are being monitored, but apparently know they won’t get in trouble — to access and share this horrifying content.
According to the Hill, the END Network Abuse Act would require the Pentagon to enter into agreements with groups including law enforcement, child protection services, social services, and trauma-informed healthcare providers in order to cut down or halt the spread and impact of these images on DOD networks. The bill would also upgrade the training and technical expertise of the military organizations involved in investigating these types of crimes.
Illustrating just how horrific the problem of government-sponsored child porn networks has become, according to the National Criminal Justice Training Center, one of the groups backing the bill, the DOD’s network is ranked 19th out of 3,000 for worst child exploitation networks in the country.
The notion that the Department of Defense’s network and Pentagon-issued computers may be used to view, create, or circulate such horrifying images is a shameful disgrace, and one we must fight head on,” Spanberger said in statement.
Meadows added that the “peer-to-peer trading of child pornography is an unacceptable practice, and federal agencies cannot allow their networks to become a platform for it.”
The idea that the government has to propose legislation to stop the government from using government resources to share and traffic in child pornography is chilling. However, as TFTP has reported, child predators within the government are anything but rare. Much of it has to do with the priority of funds going to other “crimes” instead of protecting children.
Sadly, the funding for the prevention of child sex trafficking is but a drop in the bucket to the $51 billion spent annually fighting a futile and immoral drug war.
Perhaps, if the US cared more about saving children from exploitation and trafficking, and less about kidnapping, caging, and killing people over arbitrary substances they choose to put into their own bodies, this epidemic level of pedophilia could be curbed.
However, as the Free Thought Project has reported numerous times, and as this recent bill exposes, many of these sickos hold positions of power within high levels of the government. They have an incentive to protect their operation and can do so using the many corrupt pedophiles within law enforcement and government as their minions.
In case after case, the Free Thought Project reports on horrifying instances of child sex rings that were allowed to go on for decades because politicians — including heads of states — policemen, clergy, and others were all in on the sick game.
In fact, as the 2017 Netflix series, The Keepers, set out to launch an investigation into a murder cold case, it soon became much deeper because of the high-level pedophilia it revealed. The story exposed a concerted effort to conceal widespread rape and sexual abuse committed by Keough school chaplain and counselor Father Joseph Maskell, as well as other clergy, police, and a local gynecologist.
On multiple occasions, the Free Thought Project has reported interviews of former child sex trafficking victims who’ve all noted that they had nowhere to go as police and high-level politicians all took place in the abuse.
Hopefully, as the government’s war on drugs continues to crumble, people will wake up to the fact that rescuing a child from a rapist is far more important than catching some dude smoking a plant. Hopefully.

John Bolton asked Pentagon about strike options for Iran

White House Sought Options to Strike Iran
State and Pentagon officials were rattled by the request

John Bolton, President Trump̢۪s national security adviser, had asked for military options to strike Iran.

13 January, 2019

President Trump’s National Security Council asked the Pentagon to provide the White House with military options to strike Iran last year, generating concern at the Pentagon and State Department, current and former U.S. officials said.

The request, which hasn’t been previously reported, came after militants fired three mortars into Baghdad’s sprawling diplomatic quarter, home to the U.S. Embassy, on a warm night in early September. The shells—launched by a group aligned with Iran—landed in an open lot and harmed no one.

But they triggered unusual alarm in Washington, where Mr. Trump’s national security team led by John Bolton conducted a series of meetings to discuss a forceful American response, including what many saw as the unusual request for options to strike Iran.

It definitely rattled people,” a former senior U.S. administration official said of the request. “People were shocked. It was mind-boggling how cavalier they were about hitting Iran.”
