Zealand has to be one of the most stupid countries in the world in
its attitude to gold.
This
shows that it does not figure amongst the 40 top countries with gold
holdings.
When
I checked a few years ago the country of Mali had more gold holdings
than New Zealand. Reports
are saying the Dutch Central Bank is preparing for collapse
A Central Bank of a sovereign country is making actual preparations for a "complete system collapse" by moving it's Gold Bullion to a military base.
An article published by the De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), or Dutch Central Bank, has shocked many with its claim that "if the system collapses, the gold stock will be a basis to build it up again. Gold bolsters confidence in the stability of the central bank's balance sheet and creates a sense of security."

This is not some tinfoil-hat-wearing troll preparing for Doomsday . . . it is the Central Bank of the Netherlands.
Worse, the Bank slipped-up and revealedit is moving a large part of its own Gold Bullion to a new secure facility "on a military base in Zeist."
This is not wild-eyed speculation by a nutcase; it is actual physical preparation by the national bank of a major European nation!
The article also states:

It's
not just "tinfoil blogs" who (for the past
11 years)
have been warning that a monetary reset is inevitable and the only
viable fallback option once trust and faith in fiat is lost, is a
gold standard (something which even Mark
Carney hinted at recently):
central banks are joining the doom parade now too.

While
gloomy predictions of a monetary reset are hardly new, they have
traditionally been relegated to the fringe of mainstream financial
thought - after all, as Mario Draghi stated on several occasions in
recent years, the mere contemplation of a "doomsday scenario"
is enough to create the self-fulfilling prophecy which materializes
it. As such, it is stunning to see a mainstream financial institution
open up about the superior value of limited supply, non-fiat, sound
money assets. It is also hypocritical given the diametrically
opposed Keynesian practices regularly engaged in by central banks and
official institutions worldwide: after all, just a few months back,
the IMF
published a paper bashing Germany's adoption of the gold
standard in the 1870s as the catalyst for instability in the global
monetary system.
Fast
forward to today, when the Dutch Central Bank is admitting not only
did gold not destabilize the monetary system, but it will be its only
savior when everything crashes.
"A

According
to the IMF's latest data, the DNB holds 615 tons (15,000 bars) of
gold mainly in Amsterdam, with other stores in the U.K. and North
America; the value of this gold reserve is over €6 billion ($6.62
billion). Calling gold the “trust anchor,” the article details
briefly why the hard asset is so important to wealth building and the
global economy, claiming: "Gold is... the
trust anchor for the financial system. If the whole system collapses,
the gold stock provides a collateral to start over. Gold gives
confidence in the power of the central bank's balance sheet."
Why
this sudden admission of what goldbugs have been saying for years?
Perhaps it has to do with the fact that on October 7, the bank
announced it would soon be moving a large part of its gold
reserves to "the
new DNB Cash Center at military premises in Zeist."
Almost as
if the Netherlands is preparing for the grand reset, and is moving
its most valuable asset to a "military" installation just
for that purpose.
As
bitcoin.com tongue-in-cheek points out, "DNB is no stranger to
playing along with the Keynesian, inflationary games of the global
monetary system. A system which, according to some, is
now more a Ponzi scheme based on force and blind faith than sound
economic principle.
That
notwithstanding, the centralized financial powers of the world know
the real score, and that’s why hard assets like gold are hoarded
and locked down while everyday, individual residents of these
geopolitical jurisdictions are encouraged to spend and spend, going
further into debt to prop up ultimately unsound national economies."
It
is hardly a coincidence that in its preparation for monetary
doomsday, the Dutsch Central Bank is also set to begin cracking down
on crypto exchanges and wallets, stating that "firms offering
services for the exchange between cryptos and regular money, and
crypto wallet providers must register with De Nederlandsche Bank."
While
the push for greater KYC/AML transparency is a growing global trend,
and is hardly surprising in a world in which trillions in assets
reside in "tax-evading" offshore jurisdiction, the
remarkable aspect of this latest crackdown against crypto - which
many see as a modern, more efficient form of "gold" - is
the fact that invasive regulations and restrictions by central banks
can be seen as yet another means of stockpiling precious assets. This
time, not gold bars, but bitcoin and crypto.
As
for the timing of the "great monetary reset", which other
central banks have already quietly hinted at themselves amid massive
repatriation of physical gold from the New York Fed to various
European central banks such as Germany and Austria, we
are confident that
the trust-keepers of the current establishment - such as other
central banks and the IMF - will be kind enough to provide ample
advance notice to the citizens of the "developed" world to
exchange their fiat into hard assets. Or, then again, perhaps not.
Malaysia
excluded from MH17 probe – for 'not pointing fingers at Russia'?
The
country that owned the shot down MH17 jet, which was carrying a
number of Malaysian citizens and was flown by a Malaysian crew, has
been excluded from the criminal investigation due to its political
neutrality, the nation's media reported.
Malaysia
has been left out of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), which has
been tasked with learning more about the details of the tragedy which
took place over Ukraine in July. This is despite the Dutch prime
minister stating the importance of Malaysia's cooperation during a
visit to the country this month. The JIT includes the Netherlands,
Belgium, Ukraine, and Australia.
Experts
from the Southeast Asian country are not taking part in the criminal
probe into the reason behind the Boeing 777 crash, which killed all
298 people on board. Those victims represented 10 nations, and
Malaysia had the second highest number of casualties at 43. Most of
the passengers – 193 in total – were from the Netherlands.
Earlier
in November, Malaysian police chief Khalid Abu Bakar demanded the
"active
participation of Malaysian experts in the work of the joint
investigative group,"
while debris for further investigation was collected from the site
without the country's involvement.
After
the completion of the debris collection was announced, Malaysia said
the action by the JIT countries was “unilateral,”
an informed source in the Malaysian capital told TASS news agency.

According
to Malaysian media, the country's transport minister Datuk Seri Liow
Tiong Lai said that Malaysia had expressed its stance "very
clear"
that it must be part of the criminal investigation, and informed
Dutch authorities of its intention.
Malaysian ambassador to Ukraine
Chuah Teong Ban reportedly expressed concerns that his country would
not be allowed to inspect the debris unless it became part of the
criminal investigation team.
The
police chief said he would head to Amsterdam on December 3 to discuss
Malaysia’s participation in the process with JIT members, joined by
attorney general Abdul Gani Patail.
'Political
play in the situation'
"When
the crash happened, we did not blame any parties, neither Russia nor
Ukraine, as we would like to take a look at the concrete evidence,"
head associate professor in research and aviation at Kuala Lumpur
University, Dr. Mohamed Harridon, told RT. He added that unlike
"western
counterparts,"
Malaysia has taken a “neutral
role,"
and not "pointed
fingers at Russia,"
which could be the reason for the country's exclusion from the
investigation.
Saying
that Malaysia's participation would "push
for a more balanced power into the investigation,"
Harridon – whose views on the matter were also published in one of
Malaysia's oldest newspapers, the New Strait Times – pointed out
that the country being part of the investigation was only right and
"legal."

"If
you have evidence, it should be investigated by all parties – also
by neutral parties – [and] investigated thoroughly, instead of
putting the blame initially on one party,"
he told RT, adding that there is "a
political play in that situation."
"We
are trying to lobby ourselves to be [included] in the investigation,
we have laid out several statements, we have passengers dead in the
crash, the plane belongs to Malaysia Airlines, and according to the
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), we should be part
of the team,"
Harridon said, referring to the ICAO Chicago Convention, which states
that the operator of a crashed flight must not be left out of an
investigation.
"The
exclusion from the investigation appears to be an indication that the
investigation’s objectivity has been compromised and that the
conclusions it draws will likely be politically motivated,"
New York-based geopolitical analyst Ulson Gunnar wrote in New Eastern
Outlook magazine.
Gunnar
added that Kiev is "a
possible suspect in the investigation,"
as it had "confirmed
to possess weapons capable of reaching the altitude MH17 was flying
at when it was allegedly hit"
– so Ukraine's "inclusion
in JIT represents a monumental conflict of interest."
'Our
participation will help prevent attempts to conceal the real story'
Saying
that Malaysia must take a leading role in the investigation, the
advisor for the country's Suaram human rights organization, Kua Kia
Soong, raised the issue of an alleged non-disclosure agreement drawn
up by the four participating countries, The Star newspaper reported.
"Something
simple like the fact that these four countries can keep the findings
of the MH17 crash to themselves is unacceptable,"
Kua said. He added that the consensus of the four countries which is
allegedly needed ahead of revealing findings to the public is also
inappropriate.
"One
can understand why Ukraine is in the team since that is where the
plane was shot from the sky. We can understand the Netherlands’
membership of the JIT since the flight originated from Amsterdam. But
why is Belgium in the JIT?,"
Dr. Chandra Muzaffar, president of the International Movement for a
Just World (JUST), said, according to The Malaysian Insider.
The
scholar said that if Belgium was on the list because of Brussels
being the administrative capital of the European Union – which "may
have some aviation responsibilities over commercial flights in the
continent"
– it still makes no sense, because "then
it is the EU, not Belgium, which should have a place in the team."

He
also said that if Australia is in the JIT because a number of its
citizens were killed in the tragedy, Malaysia should not have been
sidelined in the criminal investigations. He added that the US should
be participating too, "since
Boeing, an American multinational, manufactured the 777 passenger
jet."
"Our
participation in the investigation will at least help to check any
attempt to conceal or camouflage the real story,"
Muzaffar said, as quoted by The Malaysian Insider.
Professor
Mohamed Harridon doubts the whole truth will ever be revealed.
"This
is a long process, probably [will] take years, and there still [will]
be speculations. Perhaps we [will] only know 60 percent of the
truth,"
he told RT.
The
Dutch Security Council announced on Friday that the task of
collecting the Boeing 777 wreckage had been completed at the site,
and fragments still left in Ukraine are of no interest to
investigators. However, local agencies will be charged for removing
any remaining fragments from the crash site, TASS reported.
The
last time the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS
Vella Gulf (CG 72) crossed
the Bosphorus was
three weeks ago
to depart the Black Sea, following the end of the Bulgaria-led NATO
exercise Breeze 2014. Back then, the departure of the cruiser left no
American ship in the Black Sea but the numbers of NATO ships have
been on the rise since March. Ahead of Vella Gulf’s departure,
there were nine NATO ships in the Black Sea on July 9, according to
Russian state news service RIA Novosti.

reason for the departure: all warships from countries without a coast
on the Black Sea operate under the 1936 Montreux Convention Regarding
the Regime of the Straits, whose rules call for foreign warships to
depart the Black Sea after 21 days.

Ukraine
crisis: Nato raises fears of invasion as Russian troops ‘mass on
Ukraine’s borders’
Russia
has amassed about 20,000 combat-ready troops on Ukraine’s eastern
border and could use the pretext of a humanitarian or peace-keeping
mission to invade, Nato has warned.
Stating
that the conflict in Ukraine was fuelled by Russia, Nato said the
troop build-up had further escalated “a dangerous situation”.
“We
are not going to guess what is on Russia’s mind, but we can see
what Russia is doing on the ground – and that is of great concern.
Russia has amassed around 20,000 combat-ready troops on Ukraine’s
eastern border,” said Oana Lungescu, a Nato spokeswoman.
Nato
was concerned that Moscow could use “the pretext of a humanitarian
or peace-keeping mission as an excuse to send troops into eastern
Ukraine”, she added. Moscow denies Western accusations that it has
armed and supported rebels fighting Ukrainian forces in the east. It
announced new military exercises to take place all this week,
involving bombers and warplanes, in a show of strength near the
border with Ukraine.
The
Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, said the threat of a “direct
intervention” by Russia in Ukraine was “definitely greater than
it was a few days ago, or two weeks ago”.
Previously,
Russia has used military exercises as cover for intervention,
analysts say.
The
EU and US agreed tough new sanctions last week against Russia over
its actions in Ukraine, marking a new phase in the biggest
confrontation between Moscow and the West since the Cold War.
Today,
President Vladimir Putin ordered government agencies to restrict
imports of food and agricultural products from all countries that had
imposed sanctions. Imports would be “banned or limited” for a
year, he said in a decree.
The
RIA Novosti news agency quoted Alexei Alexeenko, of the sanitary
oversight agency, as saying: “From the US, all products produced
there and brought to Russia will be prohibited.” A full list would
be issued, but he thought all fruits and vegetables from EU countries
would be banned.

was too dangerous to continue at this time
The
Netherlands' prime minister has called a halt to the search for
remains of victims of the Malaysia Airlines flight 17 disaster in
Ukraine, saying it is too dangerous to continue.
At
a press conference in the Hague on Wednesday, Mark Rutte praised the
effort of the recovery mission so far and promised victims' families
the search would resume at some time in the future.
MH17
was shot down in eastern Ukraine on 17 July, killing all 298 on
board. Around 228 coffins have been returned to the Netherlands.
Rutte
also said that information from a Ukrainian military doctor who had
overseen operations in the days immediately following the crash "has
changed the recovery team's perception of an earlier effort
undertaken by local authorities".
"There
was an intensive search in the area with 800 volunteers," he
said.
The
Dutch-led international recovery team that arrived in the area later
has not found a large number of human remains.
He
said that it appears "fortunately, more was done after the
disaster than we thought until now".

an individual, parents are told they have been found".
In
his opinion, many deaths could have been avoided, but the problem is
in the internal organization of ATO, - more precisely by its absence:
"Everything
depends on chance -it may take a wounded man, maybe not. It is
possible to wait a long time for helicopters for hospitalisation just
because the papers are not filled in correctly," - explained the
soldiers.
Earlier
in the NSDC has informed that for the last day in the zone of the ATO
18 Ukrainian soldiers.were
killed and 54 wounded.
