The latest typhoon to hit Japan has slammed into the area around the Fukushima nuclear plant triggering nuclear contamination of land and waterways that means TEPCO will need to redo a lot of the cleanup they have already done.
Also, contamination workers will have to sort out the damaged remaining nuclear waste plastic bags which will be a risky procedure because of the high Gamma “dose” levels, as well as the particulates of isotopes that can be ingested, inhaled and in the case of micro particles through safety clothing and skin.
Just when we thought TEPCO might be getting a handle on the waste issue (in limited areas) and therefore the health risks, we see 8 years hard work and health risks being repeated again.
Rivers, waterways and drinking water are at risk from these contaminants with both radiological and toxic dangers. Food in the fields, fish in the sea and both human and animals are all at risk.
Taiwan has made representations on the issue of Sea contamination;
In fact not only were the bags of nuclear waste damaged but many were completely washed away;
In Tamura, floodwaters displaced huge bags containing contaminated waste gathered during the cleanup around the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, Kyodo News reported. A river washed away an unknown number of the bags. nyti.ms/2MP4icb

Also, inside the nuclear plant itself radiation alarms went of as the typhoon struck. TEPCO maintain that it was only a malfunction but if that is the case it still shows that the sensitive areas on the devastated nuclear site are insecure and now exposed to the air;

The temperatures after the Typhoon meant that high humidity and the more general damage in the Fukushima Prefecture will hamper repair and cleanup. Also, clean up will prove difficult as there are radioactive hotspots possibly all over the Fukushima prefecture and along the coastline. I am sure testing for the spread of radiation will be left to a few dedicated citizen radiation monitors (whose work is often shared on this blog – nuclear-news.net).
Once again the citizens of Fukushima who remained or who have returned and have battled to reconstruct their homes and business`s suffer another double whammy of natural disaster and nuclear disaster.
Here at nuclear-news.net, our hearts and prayers go to the people of Fukushima and other effected areas, wishing a speedy recovery. Our thoughts too to the injured and to those that have died. Namaste.

Regarding underground contaminated water from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, it was found that groundwater flowed into the nuclear power plant from a route that TEPCO did not grasp, and a large amount of contaminated water was newly generated.johosokuhou.com/2019/09/28/189…

be dumped into the sea,

backpedals after disaster reconstruction chief knocks plan to dump
tritiated water into sea —
[Tepco] backed off its tritium-dumping decision Friday after disaster
reconstruction minister Masayoshi Yoshino said it would cause
problems for struggling fishermen… The remarks made Friday by the
Fukushima native came shortly after the chairman of [Tepco] was
quoted as saying that the decision… had “already been made.”
After Tepco Chairman Takashi Kawamura’s remarks were widely
reported, the utility scrambled to make a clarification the same day.
According to Tepco’s clarification, Kawamura meant to say that
there was “no problem” with the dumping plan, based on government
guidelines and “scientific and technological standards.” The
statement also said that no final decision had been made…

Conjecture on an event at Fukushima
MAJOR NEW EVENT AT FUKUSHIMA?

Just days after Tepco announced that they found a huge hole in the bottom reactor #2 and deadly radiation readings that would kill a person in seconds. Add to that the hole at the bottom of the reactor #2 vessel and their statements that a collapse was possible, now we have a new situation at the #1 reactor building.
While watching the live cam while most were watching grown men toss a ball around I captured large amounts of smoke or steam coming from the reactor #1 building. Shortly after on the unit 4 side camera workers could be seen scrambling out of the building on the lower left of the screen, an area which I had previously filmed workers running from on several other occasions as strong earthquakes hit in the past.
My conclusion thus is that there has been some sort of new and more dangerous event. I have added some videos of what I captured this evening below and will continue to monitor the best I am able.

Also
the wind was really strong just in that area or the news was
reporting that to cover up the whole complex shaking from imminent
collapse, sounds unlikely but remember there are strict gag orders on
news and medical information concerning the plants that have been
issued in Japan.
Top that off with workers scrambling out of the same area wher I have observed them running out of during some of the stronger earthquakes in the past several years and you can now assume with a great bit of certainty that something new is taking place there today.
