In
Syrian Raqqa, the situation is horrible, about the liberation of
which the United States has been bravely trumpeting all around the
world all last week. American bombardment turned the city into a
concrete medley, under which thousands of civilians are buried alive.
Such estimates of the victims were brought up today by the official
representative of the Russian Ministry of Defence, General
Konashenkov. Moreover, he compared the scale of destruction in Raqqa
with the state of German Dresden after the Anglo-American bombing at
the end of World War II.
