Human psychology

It is very interesting to see where people's heads are at, what they care about and what they didn't.

A couple of hours ago I slappd together a fairly light-hearted look at John Key and his idiotic commets about the Homeless.

A little while later I put something together about the very serious issue of NZ's contribution to increasing greenhouse gasses at the time when we are seeing record world temperatures and we are standing on the edge of a major tipping point in the world climate that will threaten the lives of every single living being on the planet.

The first item has had nearly 900 views in just a few hours.

The second has not made 100 in nearly the same period.

All goes to show that the worse things get the more people want to distract themselves with the largely inconsequential.

Well, there we are - that's human psychology.
