Edward ('Teddy') Goldsmith, founder of the Ecologist magazine was like a grandfather to the ecological movement.
Teddy Goldsmith was one of my greatest influences from the end of the 80's when he stated categorically that if nothing was done mankind would be extinct within a few decades.
He also accurately identified the reasons why it it was highly unlikely that anything would be done.
All this back in 1989 -90
