Australia
is burning
Australia
is burning. The fires are visible from space. The 140 fires burning
on the continent this week have claimed 345,000 hectares, or 1,350
square miles. Here, the thinly inhabited Outback is lit up like
Europe.
Wildfires
are often natural, but this year's record heat waves and droughts are
anything but. THIS is what climate change looks like.
