Government
spies on federal agencies' staffers
Last
month several employees at the Food and Drug Administration were
revealed to be the target of a major surveillance program by their
employer after it got out they were reporting concerns they had to
lawmakers and other officials.
Now
as it turns out that the FDA is not alone. The US has spent billions
to "safeguard classified information" and it's been
reported that at least one dozen federal agencies have adopted
monitoring software to watch every action their employees perform.
Jesselyn
Radack of the Government Accountability Project talks more about the
increasing surveillance of government employees as the war on
whistleblowers continues.
