Jared Kusher threatens to unleash the dogs of war unless they pay his $1.4 billion debt

Ilhan Omar deposition text also names Sarsour and Kushner as Qatari assets
"We recruited both, Republicans and Democrats, but that's not good enough. We want to rule the White House," the Qataris allegedly said.

Explosive testimony given in a Florida court naming Ilhan Omar as a Qatari asset, also implicated a number of other prominent American citizens, including political activist Linda Sarsour and senior advisor to United States President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner.

Yesterday, the Jerusalem Post reported on court testimony given by Canadian businessman Alan Bender in the trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani, who stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people.

Bender told the court that Omar had been recruited by Qatar and had also pledged allegiance to Turkey's President Erdogan. Speaking to the Post earlier today, Bender confirmed that the report was an accurate representation of what was said in court.

Now the Jerusalem Post can reveal:

- That, according to Bender, Qatar aimed to 'take down' Imam Tawhidi, known as the Imam of Peace, for his criticism of Omar, using their contacts in American newspapers to publish smear stories that would lead to legal charges against the Imam.

- That Qatar's alleged assets include politicians on both sides of the House, and journalists.

- And that Senior Advisor to the President of the United States Jared Kushner is also alleged to have taken money from Qatar.

In testimony given in the Florida court, a copy of which was sent to the Jerusalem Post, Bender claimed that both Omar and Linda Sarsour were members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

"They [the Qataris] called her Sister Ilhan, which is a term you only use when you're a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. So Abdullah al-Athbah, he refers to Ilhan Omar as Sister Ilhan, and Sister Linda, which is Linda Sarsour, another activist who is now going to run for Senate," Bender told the court.

"Somebody recommended her to the Qataris. They had several names, several options to pick from, to appoint - 'they call her winning the elections is an appointment.'"

Omar was chosen, Bender said, because her father had a history of carrying out "very violent interrogations," as a high ranking officer in the Somalian army, "and they thought that would be very suitable because the more dirt you have on your candidate, the easier it is to control the candidate."

She also said to have had other perceived weaknesses which made her a suitable recruit. Bender told the court he questioned why a devout Muslim such as Omar would take bribes, only to be told, "don't be fooled by her head scarf. She's a sex maniac, and she's very weak when it comes to money and sex. And we got both."

The claims are being supported by London-based Kuwaiti activist Abdullah al-Saleh, who on Tuesday evening tweeted: "My name is Dr. Abdullah al-Saleh and I was the guest of the Qatari government and Prime Minister for 6 months. I learned of their operations in the West and can testify and confirm that everything Alan Bender said in his deposition regarding Rep. Ilhan Omar and Qatar is true."

Mr al-Saleh, who has a following of 123,000 people on Twitter, sent the
Post a photograph of himself posing with members of the Qatari royal family to support his claim.

Indeed, so "obedient" was Omar, according to Bender, that the Qataris "wanted to make sure that nobody can go after her reputation ... and that's how they brought up the name of Imam Tawhidi ... A social activist who was exposing a lot of that."

The Qataris, Bender said, asked "if I could arrange for a lawsuit against Tawhidi that it will allow Ilhan Omar to capitalize on and sue him for defamation of character.

"Their plan was to drum up information about Imam Tawhidi that are not true ... and then turn it into a media report in one of the prominent newspapers in the US. And then that turns into a possible lawsuit, which they asked me if I'm willing to sponsor the legal action part."

"Everything [Alan Bender] said in the deposition about me has happened," Imam Tawhidi told The Post. "I believe in the deposition and await an investigation. All I want is to be treated fairly," he added.

However, Omar was not the only prominent American named in the Bender testimony.

"They [the Qataris] said: 'We recruited both, Republicans and Democrats, but that's not good enough. We want to rule the White House.' So they will," he told the court.

Indeed, if Bender's testimony is accurate, they are already close.
Explaining that Qatar uses western companies to effectively launder the money they paid to American citizens, Bender cited a $1.4 billion payment which he claims was passed to Jared Kushner from Qatar, via a Canadian company named Brookfield, which he says they have invested heavily in.

Despite knowing that it was a failing investment, Qatar leaned on Brookfield to buy 666 Fifth Avenue from Kushner, to write off his debts.

"Why didn't they pay Kushner directly?" the lawyer for the plaintiffs, Ms. Castenda, asked.

"Too risky," Bender replied.

"Jared Kushner approached the government of Qatar for a bailout of 666 Fifth Avenue?" Castenda clarified.

"Correct. That's what they told me. ... And they did it. And Kushner is happy with them because, according to them, I don't know Kushner personally, but the Qataris said Kushner told them: 'Choose one of two. You pay what I tell you to pay, or I unleash my dogs.'"
"The dogs being who?" she asked.

"Saudi Arabia and the UAE," Bender replied.

The Qataris were aware that as an investment the pay-off was a write-off, but told Bender, "'We just paid it to pay off his debt. And as long as he's in the White House, we have to do what he wants until we control the White House.' We as in Qatar," Bender clarified.

The Jerusalem Post has reached out to Mr Kushner's office for a response. However, no comment has been received as of yet.
Among other claims made by Mr. Bender were that:

- The real power in Qatar is Mohammed Al-Masnad, known as 'the CEO.' "After a couple of hours, I was convinced that the Emir of Qatar does not run the show and Mohammed Al-Masnad is in charge of everything. He is also the Emir's uncle. [...] And the Emir's mother is the real king of Qatar."

- The second most powerful man in Qatar is a Palestinian, Azmi Bishara.

- That Jamal Khashoggi was set up by Qatar to be killed by the Saudis after he was found to have been "playing both sides." "Jamal Khashoggi and Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal were very close friends," Bender said. "[Khashoggi] would receive sensitive secrets ... and he leaks them to the Qataris. The Qataris would leak them to media outlets ... and he was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I got that confirmation from the Qatari officials."

- that "they [Qatar] finance almost 99 percent of Saudi dissidents in the US and the UK. They pay them." Bender named Ghanem al-Dosari, a well known YouTuber, as one such individual.

- Three Italians, known as 'the engineers' were paid by Qatar to hack the accounts of Saudi Arabian and the United Arab Emirates's citizens. "E-mails, text messages, regular phone calls, laptops. Anything you can think of. They hacked into all that."

- American officials are the cheapest to recruit. "British officials, they demand millions to be recruited. American politicians, some of them accept $50,000."

- The Qataris refer to Trump as "the orange man," and to Kushner as the "descendant of pigs and apes," because he is Jewish. "And they refer to other American Senators and Congressmen who are Christians as 'Crusaders'."

Trump Signs Bill Backing Hong Kong Protesters

Futures Tumble After Trump
Signs Bill Backing Hong
Kong Protesters, Defying China

27 November, 2019

Less than an hour after Trump once again paraded with yet another all-time high in the S&P...

... and on day 510 of the trade war, it appears the president was confident enough that a collapse in trade talks won't drag stocks too far lower, and moments after futures reopened at 6pm, the White House said that Trump had signed the Hong Kong bill backing pro-democracy protesters, defying China and making sure that every trader's Thanksgiving holiday was just ruined.
In a late Wednesday statement from the White House, Trump said that:
I signed these bills out of respect for President Xi, China, and the people of Hong Kong. They are being enacted in the hope that Leaders and Representatives of China and Hong Kong will be able to amicably settle their differences leading to long term peace and prosperity for all.
Needless to say, no differences will be "settled amicably" and now China will have no choice but to retaliate, aggressively straining relations with the US, and further complicating Trump's effort to wind down his nearly two-year old trade war with Beijing.
Trump’s signing of the bill comes during a period of unprecedented unrest in Hong Kong, where anti-government protests sparked by a now-shelved extradition bill proposal have ballooned into broader calls for democratic reform and police accountability.
“The Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act reaffirms and amends the United States-Hong Kong Policy Act of 1992, specifies United States policy towards Hong Kong and directs assessment of the political developments in Hong Kong,” the White House said in a statement. "Certain provisions of the act would interfere with the exercise of the president's constitutional authority to state the foreign policy of the United States."
The legislation, S. 1838, which was passed virtually unanimously in both chambers, requires annual reviews of Hong Kong’s special trade status under American law and will allow Washington to suspend said status in case the city does not retain a sufficient degree of autonomy under the “one country, two systems” framework. The bill also sanctions any officials deemed responsible for human rights abuses or undermining the city’s autonomy.
The House cleared the bill 417-1 on Nov. 20 after the Senate passed it without opposition, veto-proof majorities that left Trump with little choice but to acquiesce, or else suffer bruising fallout from his own party. the GOP.
Trump also signed into law the PROTECT Hong Kong act, which will prohibit the sale of US-made munitions such as tear gas and rubber bullets to the city’s authorities.
While many members of Congress in both parties have voiced strong support for protesters demanding more autonomy for the city, Trump had stayed largely silent, even as the demonstrations have been met by rising police violence.
Until now.
The bill’s author, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, said that with the legislation’s enactment, the US now had “new and meaningful tools to deter further influence and interference from Beijing into Hong Kong’s internal affairs.”
In accordance with the law, the Commerce Department will have 180 days to produce a report examining whether the Chinese government has tried use Hong Kong’s special trading status to import advanced “dual use” technologies in violation of US export control laws. Dual use technologies are those that can have commercial and military applications.
One other less discussed but notable provision of the Hong Kong Human Rights Act targets media outlets affiliated with China’s government. The new law directs the US secretary of state to “clearly inform the government of the People’s Republic of China that the use of media outlets to spread disinformation or to intimidate and threaten its perceived enemies in Hong Kong or in other countries is unacceptable."
The state department should take any such activity “into consideration when granting visas for travel and work in the United States to journalists from the People’s Republic of China who are affiliated with any such media organizations”, the law says.
* * *
In the days leading up to Trump's signature, China’s foreign ministry had urged Trump to prevent the legislation from becoming law, warning the Americans not to underestimate China’s determination to defend its “sovereignty, security and development interests.”

"If the U.S. insists on going down this wrong path, China will take strong countermeasures," said China's foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang at a briefing Thursday in Beijing. On Monday, China's Vice Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang summoned the U.S. ambassador, Terry Branstad to express “strong opposition” to what the country’s government considers American interference in the protests, including the legislation, according to statement.
The new U.S. law comes just as Washington and Beijing showed signs of working toward “phase-one” of deal to ease the trade war. Trump would like the agreement finished in order to ease economic uncertainty for his re-election campaign in 2020, and has floated the possibility of signing the deal in a farm state as an acknowledgment of the constituency that’s borne the brunt of retaliatory Chinese tariffs.
Last week China's Vice Premier and chief trade negotiator Liu He said before a speech at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Beijing, that he was “cautiously optimistic” about reaching the phase one accord. He will now have no choice but to amend his statement.
In anticipation of a stern Chinese rebuke, US equity futures tumbled, wiping out most of the previous day's gains...
... while the yuan slumped over 100 pips in kneejerk response.
Still, the generally modest pullback - the S&P was around 2,940 when Trump announced the Phase 1 deal on Oct 11 - suggests that despite Trump's signature, markets expect a Chinese deal to still come through. That may be an aggressive and overly "hopeful" assumption, especially now that China now longer has a carte blanche to do whatever it wants in Hong Kong, especially in the aftermath of this weekend's landslide victory for the pro-Democracy camp which won in 17 of the city’s 18 districts.
“Following last weekend’s historic elections in Hong Kong that included record turnout, this new law could not be more timely in showing strong US support for Hongkongers’ long-cherished freedoms,” said Rubio

Economic collapse

100% Irrefutable PROOF: The US Economy IS NOW IN COLLAPSE... By Gregory Mannarino

Bank Collapse In China! $40 Trillion Dollar Debt Heading To Economic Collapse & China’s Yuan CRASH

When will the Economic Collapse of China happen? Well, it's already started.

First, it was Baoshang Bank , then it was Bank of Jinzhou, Now it is Heng Feng Bank. This is the third bank failure in China in only three months! And they're getting bigger in size! Kyle Bass is saying that the Chinese banking regulators have at least 500 banks flagged for potential collapse. A Chinese banking regulator admitted at the beginning of this year (this was not covered in Western media) that there would be many bank failures, bailouts, and potential bank runs. He said that the mess is way more extensive than anyone's guess. According to the French investment bank Societe Generale, The Chinese banks are looking down the barrel of a staggering $1.7 trillion - worth of losses which to put this in perspective that's the entire GDP of Australia.

Put another way, 60 percent of capital in China's banks is at risk as authorities start the delicate and dangerous process of reining in the debt-bloated and unprofitable state-owned enterprise (SOE) sector. China is lending itself a large amount of money that it doesn't have and, more importantly, that its banks don't have. China could lose as much as half of its banking capital if a chinas yuan crash or a financial crisis ensues. So China has a significant banking problem. China's financial system is quietly dealing with this major crisis, although some of the activities are disclosed, they're underreported and largely downplayed.

This is an attempt to prevent the imminent economic collapse as it rots from the still lingering problems first highlighted in 2008. No country is immune; no Domino will be left standing. The Chinese economy is definitely heading to economic collapse, and there are a lot of headwinds. It seems reasonable to worry that China could be heading for a huge chinas yuan crash in the coming year.

Understand what's happening here in 2019: three banks have failed in China. Now you might argue: well, there weren't failures the government just took them over. Well If the government didn't step in, they would have collapsed entirely. This is a rapid deterioration of the situation in the financial system of China. And as China's economic and debt pain spreads We'll see more banks going belly up with a major stock market crash.

China's four biggest state banks have fallen to an average price to book ratio of 0.6, one of the Hong Kong exchange a level not seen since 2016. We are watching right now as all of these companies lose to the value of where they were at their peak. There is no chance of actually fixing the coming economic collapse with central bank easing. They're trying to get back to what they thought was this impeccable growth that would persist forever, and they can't have it.

People aren't prepared, and they never will be, and they'll see after it's too late China's 40 trillion dollar banking system heading to a huge bank collapse and chinas yuan crash.

It's not just China; it's not only the US; it's not Europe; this is a global problem.

The entire financial system top to bottom is interconnected.

We will see a world economic collapse.

It's a conundrum that China is dealing with at this time.

The latest Emissions Gap Report from the UN

Accelerating greenhouse gas levels

Arctic News,
27 November, 2019

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) just released its annual Emissions Gap Report, warning that even if all current unconditional commitments under the Paris Agreement are implemented, temperatures are expected to rise by 3.2°C, bringing even wider-ranging and more destructive climate impacts. The report adds that a continuation of current policies would lead to a global mean temperature rise of 3.5°C by 2100 (range of 3.4–3.9°C, 66% probability).
[ image from earlier post ]
Indeed, the rise in greenhouse gas levels appears to be accelerating, despite pledges made under the Paris Agreement to holding the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursuing efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) recently reported carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentrations for 2018 of 407.8 ppm (parts per million), as illustrated by the image on the right. The WMO adds that CO₂ levels, as well as methane and nitrous oxide levels, had all surged by higher amounts than during the past decade.

As the image below shows, a trend based on NOAA March 1958 through October 2019 monthly mean CO₂ data at Mauna Loa points at CO₂ levels crossing the 415 ppm mark in 2020, when an El Niño is forecast to come, as discussed in an earlier post.

The added trend in the image points at CO₂ levels crossing 1200 ppm before the end of the century, triggering the cloud feedback tipping point that by itself could push up global temperatures by 8°C, within a few years. Importantly, the clouds feedback starts at 1200 ppm CO₂-equivalent. Besides a CO₂ rise, further elements could contribute to the 1200 ppm CO₂e tipping point getting reached, such as albedo changes due to disappearing Arctic sea ice and seafloor methane releases from a rapidly-warming Arctic Ocean.

In conclusion, a huge temperature rise could eventuate much earlier than by the end of the century. The image below illustrates the potential for a rise of 18°C or 32.4°F by 2026.
[ from an earlier post ]
As discussed in a recent post, a 2020 El Niño could be the catalyst triggering huge methane releases from the Arctic Ocean seafloor starting in 2020 and resulting in such a 18°C (or 32.4°F) temperature rise within a few years time.

In the video below, John Davis describes some of the extreme weather events that he experienced recently. “Disasters like this are man-made now”, John says, “they're now natural disasters. This is caused by climate change.”

Meanwhile, a recent study found that the consensus among research scientists on anthropogenic global warming has grown to 100%, based on a review of 11,602 peer-reviewed articles on “climate change” and “global warming” published in the first 7 months of 2019.

The situation is dire and calls for comprehensive and effective action, as described in the Climate Plan.
