COVERT INTEL: GIGANTIC ESCALATION IN ARMENIA-AZERBAIJAN CONFLICT

The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan keeps escalating in ways not thought possible.

COVER INTELLIGENCE says Russian President Vladimir Putin has formally asked Iran for permission to use air bases in their country, "to protect Armenia from Turkish aggression."

The fact that this request was even made is a GIGANTIC escalation.  It would see Russian military aircraft attacking Turks, likely within Armenia or in Azerbaijan, but direct conflict nonetheless.

Intel analysts say it is likely that Iran will agree and grant permission, but that has not yet taken place.

MORE . . .

President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Armenia) stated that he does not see a political solution to the conflict, and the only scenario is to inflict maximum damage on the enemy (the Azerbaijani Armed Forces).

As this situation worsens, it seems destined to drag-in major players and if that takes place, the war will widen in ways none of us can anticipate.

The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not going well for the aggressor, Azerbaijan.

According to reports coming out of the war zone, The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which began two days ago, led to really big losses for the Azerbaijani side. According to the data as of the evening of September 28, 2020, the losses of Azerbaijan have doubled; amount to 36 unmanned aerial vehicles, 47 armored vehicles (mainly tanks) and about 400 military personnel.

“Over the past two days of fighting, Azerbaijani troops have lost more than 400 people,” Deputy Commander of the Artsakh Defense Army Artur Sargsyan said at a press conference on 28 September. According to him, in addition to about 400 killed and wounded, the Azerbaijani side lost 47 tanks and armored vehicles, as well as 36 unmanned aerial vehicles. "By 17:00 the following account losses of the opponent: 36 UAV, 47 armored vehicles, more than 400 casualties," - Artur Sargsyan said "

Azerbaijan also suffered very serious losses of its air forces, in particular, it is known about four downed military helicopters and one downed military aircraft, which, as expected, was supposed to transfer paratroopers to the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh in order to work in behind enemy lines. Moreover, a day earlier it became known that the air defense systems of Armenia shot down 4 military helicopters of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which indicates the fact that the blitzkrieg of Baku in Armenia's direction suffered a complete failure.

UPDATE 9:07 AM EDT --

According to the Armenian Unified Information Center, the following are the losses by Azerbaijan:

UPDATED 9:13 AM EDT --

Azerbaijan is shelling the city of Vardenis, Armenia.  The war is no longer limited to Nagorno-Karabagh and this is no longer about “getting our lands back”... this is now an international conflict, and third parties could be dragged into it.

Since early morning the Azerbaijani side resumed large-scale offensive ops. TOS-1A heavy flamethrowers are being employed. The use of TOS, Smerch and other large-caliber systems changes the philosophy and the scale of mil ops, elevating them to the new level of escalation.

MoD warns that Armenian AF are compelled to use pieces of equipment and munitions designed to engage wide area targets, intended for large and indiscriminate destruction of manpower, and static and mobile property alike.

A civilian passenger bus is on fire in the Armenian town of Vardenis after being hit by an Azerbaijani military attack drone, Armenian Defense Ministry representative Artsrun Hovhannisyan said on social media.

Earlier the military spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan had said that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened gunfire across the Armenia state border at the Armenian Armed Forces military base in Vardenis, and also used air force against military positions.

Warfare Intensifies between Armenia - Azerbaijan; Other Nations Jumping in!

Overnight, warfare between Armenia and Azerbaijan intensified beyond belief.

Both sides have brought heavy armor, multiple Launch Rocket Systems, aircraft and thousands of additional troops into the fight.  Worse, outside nations, Israel, Turkey, Russia, and Iran,  are sending convoys of military gear to both sides indicating the fight is broadening very fast.

Israel and Turkey are supplying the aggressor, Azerbaijan, while Russia and Iran are supplying the victim, Armenia.

According to information from the Armenian side, the AZERBAIJANI GENERAL Mais Barkhudarov was captured.

Video from the capital of Armenia show Mig-29 fighter jets, flying low and fast toward the battle lines.

There are unconfirmed reports that Azerbaijan forces have captured the city of Fuzuli.

Other nations are already jumping-in to this ugly situation.

Israel has shown its character by sending plane loads of military gear (weapons) to Azerbaijan, via Turkey as indicated by the flight radar map below:

It is more than interesting to see these two countries working together since Turkey is ardently anti-Israel . . . . or is that just some kind of ruse?

By supplying Azerbaijan, Israel is squarely AGAINST the USA; an interesting thing for them to do since their little country allegedly cannot survive without Billions in welfare every year from the United States.

And the Israelis have been doing this for weeks  leading up to the ongoing fighting.  Pictured below is a plane from the Azerbaijan military, in Israel to pick up weapons!

Armenia protested sharply to Israel following the Azerbaijani army’s use of an Israeli-made suicide drone to attack an Armenian convoy during renewed fighting, which is one of the most violent rounds of hostilities since war ended in the region 10 years ago.

Do the Israelis think we don't watch what they do?  Do they take the USA completely for granted - or is it something else;  do they think they can act with impunity?  They're wrong.  Israel should stop biting the hand that feeds it.

The Turks are proving to be troublesome too. Below, video of Turkish F-16 fighter jets flying just feet away from Armenia's southern border.  The Turks are supporting Azerbaijan.

Officials in Armenia have directly stated that Turkish F-16's are actually involved in the fighting.  They claim Turkish air strikes hit the disputed territory yesterday, but this is not yet confirmed by outside parties.

What can be confirmed is that Turkey is violating Armenian territorial air space with military drone engaged in Recon as evidenced by this radar plot from yesterday:

And Turkey has been shuttling military cargo planes into Azerbaijan for WEEKS.  In fact, one recent military cargo plane shipment took place as the renewed fighting began as proven by this flight radar record:

Russia is shipping vast quantities of equipment into Armenia both from Russia and from inside Iran.

Azerbaijan began using Multiple Launcher Rocket Systems (MLRS) this morning . . .  but didn't hit anything . . .

Elsewhere, the Greek Parliament has decided to suspend talks with #zerbaijan after its military attack against Armenia.

As this conflict grows, the risk to the region and to the world grows with it.

 ***** BULLETIN *****

UPDATED 12:08 PM EDT --

Turkish F-16 fighters launched missile strikes on Armenia.

Turkey intervened in the military conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan and launched air strikes on the territory of Armenia, using its F-16 fighters. According to preliminary data, the strikes of Turkish fighters were deployed from the airspace of Azerbaijan, which means that combat aircraft were airlifted through the airspace of Georgia or neighboring Iran.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the use of Turkish combat aircraft, which means that now, in addition to actively monitoring the airspace of Azerbaijan, air defense systems will monitor Turkish airspace at a distance of 50 kilometers from the border, since the Turkish F-16s do not have long-range missiles.

At the moment, it is known that Armenia has raised its newest Su-30 fighters into the air, but the latter have so far been used to monitor the airspace and have not been used to launch missile strikes, however, the Armenian Defense Ministry did not rule out the use of combat aircraft to attack enemy forces ...

Today, Armenia has a fairly large number of air defense systems in service, and it is for this reason that the active involvement of the air forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey is not yet widespread.
