The burning of Australia

I struggle with the complexity of natural and political reality and how they intersect.

To believe that the bushfires have nothing to do with climate change you'd have to be an idiot.

To believe that there is not a lot of truth here you'd have to be a fool.

I saw an article in Wikipedia that showed that in the 50's and 60's there were about one major episode a decade; in the 70's and 80's there were none: the present trend with increasing numbers of bushfires started in the 1990's.

For all that there is a lot of information that you ignore at your pleasure if you want the truth rather than reassuring lies.
