Does an ancient esoteric story indicate Iran might have a super-energy source?

This is a fascinating story if you have time that asks more questions than it answers.Both interviewer and interviewee stay within the question, something that impresses me.

Certainly, Iran is pretty confident in itself. Is this bravado or is there something more to it?
