Satan walks amongst us

Evil and black magic as the

world goes to Hell in a

handbasket

Through much of my adult life I have been a followr of Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta which does not really have a concept of Evil but, rather, posits that
"Avidya (ignorance) and not the ego that 'prevents us from realisation" (http://www.advaita.org.uk/discourses/chittaranjan/evil_chittaranjan.htm).

Covering events for 8 years and seeing the way the world is run I am no longer able to believe that Evil is simply ignorance.

I have come to see that Evil is very real and walks amongst us in everything that we are involved with.

Take this advertisement for a new series on Netflix.

The Master and Margarita (which posits the visitation of the Devil to Stalin's Russia) it is NOT!

I watched part of a video from Anthony Patch that was recommended to me, "MIT& Black Magic Course" .

Even though the language of the video was far my own I did get to see that MIT in Boston is teaching a course on Black Magic which cites Aleister Crowley, one of the most notorious individuals to have walked amongst us.

The course is absolutely real.

Here are some of the details.

Indistinguishable From... Magic as Interface, Technology, and Tradition

Course Overview

When Aleister Crowley defined magic as "the Science and Art of causing Change to occur in conformity with Will," he might as easily have been describing technology. In fact, "magic" is still the word we use to encompass the wonders of a new technology before it becomes ubiquitous.

From Neolithic ceremonies to Las Vegas stage shows, "magic" describes a long tradition of using technology, ritual, and performance to create wonder. As 21st century technologists there's still a lot we can learn from this tradition. Engineering illusions requires close attention to the limits of human perception, disciplined practice of the art of showmanship, and subtle use of the crafts of deception—skills that are just as relevant to contemporary technology demos as they were to 19th century stage illusions.

Further, magic is one of the central metaphors people use to understand the technology we build. From install wizards to voice commands and background daemons, the cultural tropes of magic permeate user interface design. Understanding the traditions and vocabularies behind these tropes can help us produce interfaces that use magic to empower users rather than merely obscuring their function.

With a focus on the creation of functional prototypes and practicing real magical crafts, this class combines theatrical illusion, game design, sleight of hand, machine learning, camouflage, and neuroscience to explore how ideas from ancient magic and modern stage illusion can inform cutting edge technology.

Guest lecturers and representatives of member companies will contribute to select project critiques. Requires regular reading, discussion, practicing magic tricks, design exercises, a midterm project and final project.

Here is some details on him...

“Aleister Crowley, the wickedist man in the world”

There are names we all recognise, even if what we know about them is entirely wrong. So it is with Aleister Crowley. Sometimes described as a Satanist [1], and during his lifetime labelled “the wickedest man in the world” [2], in truth Crowley was neither of those things. What he was instead was a product of transition. Had he been born a century earlier he would have been imprisoned, institutionalised or forced into obscurity. Had he been born a century later he would simply have been another outrĂ© poet. Instead he was born during the period when conservative mores were beginning to be shed, and became for many the new face of the unacceptable side of society. In a twist of irony, the would-be magician became a symbol more powerful than any of his magical sigils.

In the context of all I know as well as the above I will be asking for protection.

I can't lose.

  1. First of all I must express my gratitude to you (and your ilk) for attempting to hold up the truth under very difficult circumstances through your blog which I have been following for quite a few years. Regarding the current topic,as a Hindu, I would like to state the following. If you read Rambam, a Jewish Rabbi, he talks about two levels of evil. First one is darkness (ignorance and illusion) and the second is more substantive. Darkness is dispelled simply by going to light and traditionally this is the mainstay of Hinduism and Buddhism. If you are able to do this, you get to the level of adwaita Bramhan or Buddhahood. However at very advanced (and very very secret) level, some yogis have been trying to reach the akhanda (collective) level. It is said that in early 1940's, the work for the light (adwaita at a collective level) was completed. However darkness could not be dispelled as the substantive level of evil was not addressed. All this are supposed to be very secret so as not to disturb the great mission, but I think this can be talked about now because it is sort of now or never situation in light of the impending Abrupt Human Extinction. I pray to Guruji that may the the great mission be completed.
