Nuclear scientist and whistleblower, Chris Busby, has his home raided in UK

Chris Busby has home raided by multiple agencies causing quite a stir in Bideford UK

The police, bomb squad, fire services etc have been searching Chris`s house all day without contacting him.. he has a public profile and is on the Domestic Extremist database held at MI5.. The police talked to him earlier in the day about the lady in question but not the fact that his house was also going to be raided and thoroughly searched.. Was there a search warrant? And FB pages commenting on this veered into slander and fake news..

More details here -

Heads up everyone.. The Police have raided Chris Busby home in Bideford under the excuse of helping a woman (A friend who is staying at the house).. They used that as an excuse to gain entry and then reported suspicious materials (Chris`s scientific equipment, experiments (including radioactive mud from \Sellafield.) and materials..

So, the police were in the house for 3 hours before they called in the fire brigade. They have said there is no risk to local houses..

Even though Chris is obviously on Domestic Extremist database (run by MI5), the didnt call him up to late this evening. They had talked to him earlier concerning the lady and he confirmed she was his friend.

How odd that they have not told Chris that the terrorist squad, police, fire fighting department, bomb squad and special "experts" have concerns without asking his directions on the materials in his home lab. here are the two headlines generated on devon live ;

Bomb squad in Bideford after major police incident

Major incident in Bideford as police and fire crews flood town

The Uk gov. new prevent strategy and numerous recent anti terror legislations might have Chris a bit concerned.. As it should all activists and independent scientists..

There is one more part to this.. But I will let the news come out first officially before i give my honest opinion with this developing situation.. As chris is starting to win the arguments in his court cases, i believe, A direct attack (as has been happening to him for some months now in small ways) is now under way.. the 3 hours were to search for any incriminating evidence.

Fire crews are helping police deal with a situation in the Devon town tonight

Firefighters are assisting police with an incident

Police and fire teams are dealing with an unknown incident in Devon this evening.

Emergency services have spent all afternoon on patrol in historic port town Bideford because of a situation that's unfolded.

It's currently not known what the nature of the incident is.

People are speculating on social media that it relates to a 'hazardous materials' incident - though that has not been confirmed.

Firefighters were drafted in to assist cops at 14:39pm today.

A Devon and Somerset Fire & Rescue Service spokesman told Devon Live: "All I can say is, we are supporting the police with an incident there."

The police log number is 317.

Police update

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “At 11.30am today police responded to reports of concern for the welfare of a woman in Bideford. Enquiries led to officers attending an address in Bideford and within the property a number of items were found which required expert analysis from specialist officers and an explosive ordnance disposal team.

Officers are currently at the property alongside the fire service. The house has been evacuated and a cordon is in place in the immediate vicinity.

Enquiries are ongoing at the property. It has not been necessary to evacuate any of the properties and there is not believed to be any wider public risk at this time.”

Police confirm 'hazardous material' incident

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said details are still scarce, and this could very well be something minor, but added emergency services are “very sensitive” to potential hazardous material incidents.

The force incident manager said: “We’ve got a situation where we’ve ended up at a premises in relation to a different incident and we’ve found some material in the premises that we need to asses to understand what we’ve got.

We’re going to be doing this certainly for the next few hours to take a proper assessment of what we’ve got.

We’ve had properly equipped fire crews go in and take images and what we currently know is that it looks fairly low risk. We’re very sensitive when it looks like something could be problematic.”

A full press release about the ongoing incident is being worked up currently and more details will follow.
