Further moves towards dictatorship in America

Most of us think of Stalinist Russia or Nazi Germany – or the Stasi – when we think of totalitarianism.

It is not necessary in the post-modern era. It is enough to assassinate or otherwise silence key players and use electronic forms of censorship to control the population.

Think electronic ankle bracelets rather than dark dungeons or firing squads.

A more active form of repression may be coming – who knows?
