Mind Melding For The Revolution: An Interview With Dr. Cynthia McKinney

This was easily the most fascinating interview that I have ever done. Dr. Cynthia McKinney is a deeply impressive woman whose quest for truth has led her through Capitol Hill as a Democratic Congresswoman and through a presidential campaign as the Green Party candidate in 2008. Today McKinney has been pointing her brilliant mind at finding ways to snap her country out of its abusive relationship with the unelected power establishment, and toward that end she’s been collaborating with trailblazers from every corner of the political spectrum. I was so moved by her words that I accidentally said “I love you” at the end. Have a listen.

CAITY Johnstone is a mother of two from the bayside suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Caity started writing the The Angel Chronicles to amuse her kids and their friends on facebook.

As a small girl, Caity had many imaginary friends, all called 'Kathleen' and they all wore blue ice cream buckets on their heads. Not wanting to be left out, she wore one too. Caity wanted to be an artist and an author from a very young age, but she didn't have any stories to tell so she left home to see the world. She talked her way into and out of many jobs she knew nothing about, and got to meet many interesting people and learn a whole lot of random skills.

She loves tap dancing and night-swimming and making people laugh, but mostly, she loves telling stories in words and pictures. For this reason, she spends a lot of time on facebook. Aside from The Angel Chronicles, she is working on a graphic novel called Fugu and the Art of War about a man on death row who orders the poisonous fish for his last meal, and a chicklit novel inspired from her days working at an old-skool dating agency, as well as a collection of funny poems and short stories for children.

She still has a whole world of imaginary friends, but she no longer wears an ice-cream bucket as a hat.
