Sяtrong winds in the Arctic

After reading Harold’s report yesterday I identified this storm on Nullschool
Arctic Weather 09 25 2015 12:05 pm CDT

Update: This is very concerning.

Strong winds in Laptev and East Siberian Sea Over Open Water. 48 F and 60 F Temperatures nearby.

The danger is that the wind and waves can mix the ocean water. Warm water on the ocean floor can melt the methane hydrates. The methane hydrates can release methane 150 to 170 times the original size of the hydrates. The methane emissions can heat up the atmosphere and precipitate further release of methane emissions. A strong continuous loop can be established and cause run away global warming.
