Earth changes - 05/25/2015

Here is a selection of items about earth events in the past few days. I have included (despite some reservations) what Dutchsinse has to say, as well as the more credible, Extinction Protocol.

What the hell IS going on at lake Mead as well as in the western Pacific?!

What Exactly Is Going On At Lake Mead?

25 May, 2015

Following our exposure of the plunge in Lake Mead water levels post Friday's earthquake, officials were quick to point out that the drop was "due to erroneous meter readings" - which in itself is odd given we have not seen such an aberration before in the measurements. The data today shows a super surge in the Lake Mead water level - which, even more mysteriously, indicates from pre-earthquake to now, the Lake has risen by the most in a 3-day-period in years(as long as we have found history). How was this level 'manufactured' you ask? Simple - discharge flows from the Hoover Dam were curtailed dramatically. We are sure there is a simple explanation for all this...

Officials said - do not worry, the readings are faulty...
Lake Mead's elevation has NOT dropped to 1,068 feet. Some inaccurate data was posted online. We are at 1,077 feet. http://t.co/a0YUo9iD0P

Which resulted in this miracle...

The biggest 3-day net surge in water levels (0.7 feet from Thursday to Sunday) on recent record...

How was this miracle achieved (given the general lack of precipitation)? Were discharge levels curtailed drastically?

Nope - nothing odd here at all...

So what exactly is going at Lake Mead?

Plunges After Nevada Quake

5/23/2015 — MOUNT HAKONE IN JAPAN — HASN’T ERUPTED IN OVER 800 YEARS — GROUND RISING + STEAMING

japan deep asthenosphere earthquake may 25 2015

A major seismic development has occurred in Asia.  Over the past few hours two noteworthy earthquakes have struck in (or near) Japan.

First, a shallow 5.6 magnitude (5.3M revised) struck the Northern portion of Tokyo Japan.   This earthquake made international news over the past few hours.
Main stream media report on the 5.6M event in Tokyo here:

Then, moving forward just a few hours, we see a new earthquake has struck deep in the Asthenosphere below the Japan / China / Russia border region just West of mainland Japan.

This new earthquake struck at a depth of 239 miles / 386km, which falls directly in the deeper layers of the Earth below the Pacific plate.

This below diagram shows the approximate layers of the central core of the Earth, showing the Asthenosphere to be the area of semi-melted magma located below the crust (lithosphere).

asthenosphere

________
It has been seen in the past that these deep earthquakes are followed by shallow LARGER earthquakes in adjacent areas to the deep movement.  Earthquakes in the Asthenosphere cause a pressure from below, which then leads to shallow earthquakes elsewhere which are larger in magnitude.

Here is a video I made explaining the new findings about the deeper layers of the Earth, and how movement below causes movement above.

Recent examples of asthenosphere movement causing shallow larger movement are the cluster of deep earthquakes in Fiji causing the cluster of shallow larger earthquakes near Papua New Guinea.  Also we saw a deep earthquake in this location (near Japan) 2 days prior to the Kathmandu Nepal earthquake.

The deep asthenosphere earthquake which struck near Japan before the Nepal earthquake was a 5.0M event….. the current deep earthquake is a 5.2M.   We may need to place the area to the West / Northwest of this new deep earthquake on alert for a shallow larger event in the near term.

This means a new alert should be issued now for the areas adjacent to the deep movement.  Please keep watch in Nepal going into China/Russia border regions for a possible larger earthquake.  I wouldn’t rule out North India either.

Next 3-5 days should tell the tale if this deep Japan earthquake causes movement to the West of it (India / Nepal / China / Russia region).

Still watching areas named out on the May 21st earthquake forecast, still 2 days left to go in the original forecast for these areas.

Watch the earthquake forecast here:

Another additional point to remember, there is a possible eruption getting ready to take place near Tokyo Japan.

After remaining dormant for over 800 years (since the 12th century Middle Ages) we see Mount Hakone showing major signs of a coming eruption.

Japanese officials have cut access to the area around the Volcano (located just 45 miles from downtown Tokyo), and now the area is reported to have swelled / uplifted over 4 inches in 2-3 weeks time.  Gushing steam seen on multiple hillsides, and access to the nearby hot springs resorts is limited.

Galapagos Island volcano erupts for the first time in 33 years

Wolf Volcano

May 2015 – GALAPAGOS ISLANDS, Ecuador – After almost 33 years of inactivity, Wolf Volcano, the highest in the Galapagos Islands and home to the only population of pink iguanas in the world, began to erupt early Monday, the Galapagos National Park reported. “The volcano is not located near a populated area,” the Park said. “There is no risk for the human population.” The Galapagos Islands are located in the Pacific Ocean, some 1,000 kilometers off the coast of Ecuador. Pink iguanas share the habitat with yellow iguanas and giant tortoises, located on the northwest flank. The lava flow has southeasterly direction, so the park expects the animals won’t be affected.

The Galapagos National Park also said that currently there is no risk to tourism operations, but the Environment Ministry is notifying tourist operators to take precautions. Environment Ministry officials weren’t able to be reached for comment. The Wolf Volcano, located on Isabela Isla, is 1,707 meters above sea level. Its first recorded eruption was in 1797 and the latest was in 1982. The Galapagos are one of the most volcanically active regions in the world and famous for their unique flora and fauna. Charles Darwin visited the islands in 1835 and the creatures that live there helped inspire his theory of evolution. –WSJ

Moderate 5.3 magnitude earthquake shakes buildings in Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo Quake

May 2015 – TOKYO, JAPAN – A strong quake shook buildings in Tokyo on Monday, setting off alarms and temporarily bringing the city’s subway system to halt, AFP reporters in the Japanese capital said. Scientists said there was no risk of a tsunami from the quake, which had a magnitude of 5.3, according to the US Geological Survey. The Japan Meteorological Agency earlier put it at 5.6. Both runways at Narita Airport, the main international gateway to Tokyo, were temporarily closed so staff could check for any damage. Neither was affected. Alarms on mobile phones and in buildings sounded as the quake developed with a series of vertical bounces, as well as a side-to-side shaking.

The quake struck at a relatively shallow 35 kilometers (22 miles), the USGS said, putting its epicenter just 34 kilometers north of the heaving metropolis of Tokyo, one of the most densely populated areas in the world. National broadcaster NHK reported the effects were felt over a large area around the capital. However, there were no immediate reports of injuries or any damage, including at any of the shuttered nuclear power stations in the region. A massive 9.0 magnitude quake that struck off the country’s northeast coast in 2011 generated a powerful tsunami that wreaked havoc in a wide area.

As well as killing more than 18,000 people, it destroyed thousands of homes and sparked a nuclear emergency at Fukushima when waves swamped reactor cooling systems. Japan is located at the junction of a number of the earth’s tectonic plates and experiences around a fifth of the planet’s most powerful quakes every year. But rigid building codes and strict enforcement mean even powerful quakes that might devastate other parts of the world frequently do little damage to Japanese infrastructure. –DM

4.8 magnitude earthquake rattles Las Vegas, Nevada – scientists worry quake may be a precursor to a bigger event

Las Vegas QuakeMay 2015 – LAS VEGAS, NV – After an earthquake prompted the closure of several flyover ramps in Las Vegas’ Spaghetti Bowl interchange on Friday,
transportation engineers said the bridges remain safe for travel. The magnitude-4.8 earthquake happened at 11:47 a.m., and was centered in Caliente, NV, about 150 miles north of Las Vegas. The earthquake was later downgraded from a 5.3 to a 4.8 magnitude earthquake by the USGS. Immediately after the temblor, emergency crews shut down the ramps from U.S. Highway 95 southbound to both directions of Interstate 15. The Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard ramp to I-15 southbound was also closed. This allowed crews to inspect a gap that appeared in the 95 ramp to I-15 southbound after the quake.

According to Mary Martini, District I engineer for the Nevada Department of Transportation, the gap existed before Friday’s earthquake, but the tremor shook loose a protective rubber casing that was covering the seam of the bridge, making the damage appear worse than it really was. “We’re issuing an emergency contract to repair the seam,” Martini said. “Meanwhile, the ramps remain structurally sound and safe for travel.” The ramps, which Martini said are made of cast-in-place concrete and steel reinforcements, reopened just after 4 p.m. They will remain open through Memorial Day, Martini said.

Several FOX5 viewers called the newsroom and posted on social media about the quake, saying they felt buildings sway and houses shake. One person said they heard a building creaking during the tremor. Officials said no injuries or other significant damage was reported. Graham Kent, director of the Nevada Seismological Laboratory, said Southern Nevadans shouldn’t be shocked by Friday’s earthquake. “At one level, it’s always a surprise when we get an earthquake, but this area carries enough tectonic strain, as they call it, or motion where these types of earthquakes or larger ones would not be unexpected,” Kent said. Nevada is the third-most seismically active state. Nearly 20 percent of the earthquakes in the United States occur in Nevada, but most are small and centered in remote areas. –Fx5 Vegas

Big quake overdue for Las Vegas: Researchers say there is better than a 50 percent chance of an earthquake measuring 5.0 or greater in the Las Vegas area in the next 25 years. Nevada is the third most seismically active state in the country. “People always need to be concerned about an earthquake because earthquakes always happen,” said UNLV geology professor Dr. Wanda Taylor. “They’re constantly happening.” At UNLV they study earthquakes worldwide and monitor the faults in our area. There are seven faults in the Las Vegas valley. The Frenchman Fault is the largest.

Our current research indicates that our current faults in our valley are a greater problem than has been recognized,” Taylor said. In a valley like ours, the seismic waves can bounce back and forth, and with soft sediments, the damage can be extensive. “Our valley is bedrock with a bunch of softer materials so it’s kind of like a bowl of Jell-O,” Taylor said. The U.S. Geological Survey also predicts an earthquake on one of the big faults in Death Valley would shake Las Vegas the most. Two years ago, FOX5 traveled to Cal Tech in Pasadena, the world’s foremost earthquake think tank. Researchers say Southern Nevadans should be prepared. “The earthquake I’d worry more about in a city like Las Vegas is the big earthquake like a Northridge, 6.7, 7 or bigger,” said Dr. Susan Hough of the USGS. “Those earthquakes can happen.”

If a 6.6 earthquake hit Las Vegas there could be upwards of $17 billion in economic loss, approximately 30,000 buildings in the valley would be damaged, as many as 11,000 would need public shelter and up to 800 people could die. Some experts say it’s not a matter of if, but when. –Fox 5 Vegas  (Filed September 11, 2011)
