MOSCOW, January 19 (Sputnik) — The bus shelling incident in Volnovakha could have been organized by the Security Service of Ukraine, hackers from CyberBerkut group claim, publishing compromised SBU documents on the official website of the network.

Hackers released letters and cryptograms of the Anti-Terrorist Center of the SBU, confirming that the attack could have been planned and carried out by SBU Office in Donetsk region. The documents also contained information about how Ukrainian security forces used the incident for political purposes.

Moscow Alarmed by Kiev Blaming Local Militia for Volnovakha Bus Tragedy

In a ‘confidential’ letter from January 13, SBU first deputy head Basil Gritsak instructed Gennady Kuznetsov, head of the center “A” of SBU Anti-Terrorist Center, to carry out a provocative campaign, aimed at laying the blame for civilian deaths on independence supporters in Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republic. Gritsak ordered “to plan and submit proposals for provocative actions, which would help to charge DNR and LNR militias with civilian deaths”.

CyberBerkut also published a cryptogram, where employees of the SBU Office in Donetsk reported they had implemented “propaganda campaign to make the required informational impact on Ukraine's population”. The cryptogram was sent from SBU Office in Donetsk region to Kiev and Kramatorsk. The network also released a list of media publications, accusing independence supporters of shelling the bus.

The passenger bus was shelled near Volnovakha south of the city of Donetsk on January 13. The incident left 10 people dead and 17 injured. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko accused independence supporters from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) of the attack. The DPR denied its involvement and called Poroshenko’s statement a provocation, explaining that DPR artillery was based too far away to reach the town or its neighborhoods.

Sergey Cherenko, driver of the bus  which fell under tragic fire on January 13 received minor cuts a finger and cheeks. He did not go for medical care, and today continues to work on the same route.

In an interview of Korrespondent.net the driver said that the shelling  of the checkpoint came from the side of Volnovakha,  controlled by Ukrainian troops - to the left of the bus and the passengers were killed not by a Grad shell, but from fragmentation mine that exploded to the right of the bus.

- Sergey, how do you feel? What were injured by gunfire?

- I have not received any injuries. A slight cut to the finger and cheek, but in general I am alive and well. I have already worked two shifts on the bus.

- It was a scary ride in the "hot spots"?

- I have been a  driver since 1972, and have been working as a bus driver for 21 years. I'm accustomed to. Yesterday, for example, was in Donetsk. But I had to leave, there was a terrible bombing.

- How are bus drives treated at checkpoints?

- Treated well. I would not say that there are any offenses or scandals.

- You were summoned to the police after the January 13 tragedy?

- I was summoned to the police department in line Volnovakha and the SBU, where I gave a written testimony. I was asked how many people I was carrying.

- Can you describe the moment of the explosion?

- A big bus from Maiupol went In front of me at the checkpoint The guys from the National Guard guys indicated I could drive on  . I got back. I was not allowed to open the door - there was a check going on. And then some rustling on the left side, and the hum of an explosion. 

People cried: "open the door," and it stuck. I click on a button, but could neither open the back nor front door . Then I opened the driver's door and jumped out. I ran. The emergency exit escape through it and run away.

I ran up to the back door, but could not open it either, beating with legs and hands. Then on the left side of the bus, which was still intact, the passengers began to kлick out the glass.  National Guard soldiers placed a aldder there, and people began to get out.

- How do you suppose,  which side was the firing was conducted from?

- The shooting came along the course of the  bus. I was driving in the direction of Donets - the shooting came from the left side of Volnovakha. This is what we all the "northern region"  not from Dokuchaevsk.

- What were the shots were fired from,  in your opinion?

- The actual checkpoint was being atacked with Grads. But a Grad shell fell nearby I wouldn't be talking to you today. Just at the checkpoint there are mines. This was a  mine, namely a fragmentation mine.

Recall that the territory west  of Volnovakha  is controlled by  Ukrainian fighters. In the northeast representatives of DNR  are entrenched. Representatives of Ukrainian government are telling us that the shots came from Dokuchaevsk, from territory controlled by the DNR
