Ukraine prepares great provocation at Russian border

President of International Centre for Geopolitical Analysis colonel general Leonid Ivashov believes that Ukrainian army prepares a big provocation aimed against Russia.

According to military expert 300 or more units of Ukrainian armaments (MLRS «GRAD» M1964, RS «Tochka U») are deployed on Arabatskaya Strelka in Kherson region.

See the map below: Arabatskaya Strelka is a tongue of the land currently belonging to Ukraine to the east of Crimea, on the border with Russia.

Furthermore Right Sector militants started sabotage and intelligence activities in Crimea. «They know that Crimea is Russia. They have another task — to provoke conflict» said Ivashov.

General does not exclude that war in Crimea could be provoked in the next month and NATO countries could be involved into this conflict. The military preparations are started not only to pressure Russia.

«The scenario is tried and true: as it was in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It’s about demonization of Russian Federation and Russian leader, we are announced to be the world’s threat. I don’t believe Euromaidan to be accidental and spontaneous. I tend to speak in terms of geopolitics. There is certain strategic action plan and it’s working right now» added Ivashov.
