Unexpected developments in Ukraine conflict

According to this 11pm news broadcast from Russian state television Roossiya-1 a ceasefire has been announced with immediate effect. This came after reports that the Kiev junta were using short-range ballistic missiles against the rebels in the area where the OCSE teams are waiting to get into the MH17crash site and that this was a huge escalation in the conflict.

No doubt there will be more coming out on this in the coming hours.
