Big Brother in New Zealand

On 9/11, Kiwi’s Being Droned, GCSB And Facial Recognition In Auckland.
If You’re Not Shit Scared By Now You Haven’t Been Paying Attention!

When several weeks ago the news appeared that at least one Kiwi had been a victim of a US drone attack our Government thought that the guy deserved what he got. He shouldn't have been were he was. No judge, no jury needed. Meta data tells you everything you need to know!

What is more it now appears that GCSB was actively involved in supplying the US intelligence community with information about the man killed in  the raid according to Journalist Jeremy Scahill.
This morning an article appeared in the NZ Herald. "They" are rolling out a soon to be Nation wide surveillance system in Auckland which "may" (no "may" about it. We docile Kiwi's  think we need it anyway) include facial recognition.
A 2012 survey found 93 per cent of Kiwis believed it was acceptable for police to use facial recognition technology to help identify people from security camera footage.
With our government not just condoning the cold blooded murder of our citizens abroad it pays to remember that withing 10 years every country will have drones capable of firing missiles including New Zealand. Together with the unchecked capability of our government to collect meta  data, facial recognition and identity that makes for a formidable force concentrated in what we still perceive to be our government. But what if the TPPA is signed and we loose a large chunk of that independence such as it is?
The experience teaches us that when powerful people get more power to kill they invariably use it. If this doesn't frighten the shit out of you you haven't been paying attention because over the last 500 years mass spying has never been done to catch terrorists but always to crush dissent amongst the population.
And while you let this sink in here is a FRONTLINE Video of about 2 hours called United States of Secrets about a secret plan put in place after the events of 9/11.
