The Big Lie

Many thanks to a Green Road

Another Lie By TEPCO; Not 1 Hydrogen Explosion, But 2 Separate PLUTONIUM MOX Fuel Explosions At Fukushima Building #3

3 January, 2014

The official TEPCO fairy tale story about Fukushima is that there were 'only' 3 hydrogen explosions, total; at buildings 1, 2, and 3. They also claim there were no spent fuel pool fires, and that no radiation was released from any Fukushima spent fuel pools. They claim no plutonium came out of anything, anywhere and that all fuel stayed inside containment in all structures. (This is how they come up with the 10% of Chernobyl computer model)

All of this consists of nothing more than a pack of 'polite' PR in your face lies. We will focus on #3 reactor building and prove that 2 separate explosions happened on two separate days at this building and that plutonium MOX fuel did exit the building. Other articles will focus on the other lies and disprove them. So let's dive in, shall we?

First, Arnie proves that multiple spent fuel pools sustained damage. He does not talk about equipment pools, but just in what he does cover, he proves that TEPCO is lying about no spent fuel pools being damaged or catching on fire.

Ooops, there goes the 10% of Chernobyl radiation fairy tale.

The debris tracks on the #3 building turbine bld roof clearly show two explosions.

The first explosion was on 3/14 at 11:01, and there was a second explosion at R3 on 3/15 at 11:00.

News reports also prove that there were two separate explosions on two separate days.

If you look closely at the overhead photo of Reactor #3, in the following link;

In the – 4th photo down – you can see the locations of the TWO explosions.

1. The spent fuel pool was explosion #1 on 3/14/2011

2. The equipment pool was explosion #2 on 3/15/2011

This is easily determined by the roof structure. The roof framework is intact over the reactor, but blown away over the sfp and, most severely, over the equipment pool. Further proof is shown in the debris paths on the turbine bld. Notice the two paths are PARALLEL, meaning they were created from two separate explosions.

This should be enough for anyone with common sense to agree that TEPCO lied again about this as well. There were two explosions on two separate days at building #3, coming from the spent fuel pool and from the equipment pool, both of which contained MOX plutonium fuel. In other words, #3 was NOT merely a hydrogen explosion.

TEPCO claimed nothing more than a hydrogen explosion happened at building #3. This is just another lie. TEPCO, what are all of these fuel rods doing outside the building, if the building just had a 'hydrogen' explosion?

You can clearly see the rods blown out of the #3 building with the pictures.

Now there is still some debate about whether one of the explosions came from the spent fuel pool or the reactor itself. According to JoeNeubarth December 28, 2013 at 12:10 pm, he claims that at least one of those explosions "was a vectored steam explosion from the Torus when several tons of Corium fell into the Torus propelled by a hydrogen explosion milliseconds before. Anybody can see that the explosion was vectored upward just by watching the Reactor Three Explosion Video. I have argued about this with the Arnie supporters. The simple fact of the matter is that if there was a prompt critical explosion in the fuel pool, it would have blown the side of the pool out. That obviously did not happen, but the roof of the Reactor building was blown sky high by all of the lower floors shooting up and through the reactor building. Why was it vectored upward? That is simple, too, because deep in the bowels of the building the only way to go was up. A lot of en-trained Corium when skyward in that explosion."

Either way, a lot of MOX fuel came out of the building, at least some of it in melted form. This plutonium then went around the world.

So how did these explosions happen? According to hbjon December 28, 2013 at 12:17 pm, "Uranium dioxide, when cast into a pellet under high pressure heats up by itself when removed from the die. Understandably, a smaller press must be used for MOX fuel. Those atoms are as close together as their going to get until they're melted and solidified under atmospheric pressure.

The fuel had liquefied and produced massive amounts of tritium when contact with heavy water was made. You with me so far? Tritium and oxygen gas take up more space than heavy water and when you try to confine it in a limited space, the pressure will increase. So what do we have? We have a fissioning blob of fresh corium in a confinement that has increasing gas pressure(pressure cooker). When tritium (or hydrogen atoms with increased neutron content) are pushed together by pressure, they fuse. When that happens it takes less of the glue that holds nucleons together to bind the new nucleus and there is a release of energy. The energy is sometimes referred to as nuclear energy but in fact it's only fusion. The momentary orange flash told us this in unit 3

There are factors that come into play that will determine the approximate yield of such an explosion. Venting, pressure, temperature, and other variables. A critical mass will explode, but under these contaminated, neutron rich conditions unlikely."

Arnie Gunderson also postulated a prompt criticality happened in #3, which made the MOX plutonium fueled explosion in this building look much different and go up much higher than in any of the other buildings.

TEPCO also claims that everything stayed inside of the containment. Then why was there a picture of corium mass exiting the 3# building

(gold colored mass dripping out of building)

and also corium coming out of building #4?

(black liquid mass coming out of right side of building)

Why are there reports of increasing radioactive Iodine 131 levels in surrounding towns in 2014? The short half life of this element means it should be completely gone by now, if everything is cooled off and under control.

The only way this can happen is if there is an underground corium underneath Fukushima, and it is 'burping' fission products up.. Where is the evidence of this burping, besides the pictures of liquid corium masses coming out of at least two buildings, and then going into the ground?

Why is there a video of a fissure with steam/smoke coming out of it right next to building number 3, months after the mega disaster? This is direct evidence of the corium 'burping' up above ground, and ties in with the increases in radioactive Iodine 131 levels in surrounding towns, and all the way down to Tokyo. It also ties in with the multiple pictures of TONS of out of control, highly radioactive, fissioning coriums coming out of multiple buildings.

Why is building #3 still steaming right up to 2014?

Bottom line, things are getting WORSE at the Fukushima site, not better, as time goes on. Radiation levels are increasing all the way up to 2014, both in the ocean, in the groundwater and on land. This does not look or sound like a normal 'decommissioning'.

Bottom line, TEPCO lied about what happened at the #3 Fukushima reactor building. TEPCO lied not only about what happened there, not just in one way, but in MANY ways. So if they can lie with a straight face about basic facts like this, what else are they hiding and keeping secret at Fukushima?

Now, who are you going to believe and TRUST? TEPCO, the Japanese government, the NRC, the IAEA, pro nuclear scientists, the US military, the mass media, or your own eyes?

His theory is that the R3 explosion of 14'th, is when the meltdown burnt a hole in the bottom of the steel pressure vessel, and fell into a lot of seawater, INSIDE the containment concrete, which created so much pressure, it temporarily blasted past the containment well cap, and left the cap leaking jets of steam.

My theory of the two trails, on the roof of the generator building, is that the resonating/blast properties of the corners of the building, made the SECOND panel blow-out, parallel to the centre of their faces, which happened to be at the same height as that roof, and leave trails.

I also see (elsewhere in photo 01_001) a green circular thing (spare equipment lid?), at 45', looking like it was sitting in the equipment pool water, and got blasted sideways/upwards, against the N wall, which then fell out. The watered pool spilled out (with less damage), the roof above that wall was blown away (not having anything to hold onto), and the S-edge roof above SFP3 has disintegrated in the flame-yellow-blast-pool in the video. The roof girders in the middle, somehow stayed attached.
