Media blackout

Radio New Zealand silent on Fukushima

This is easily the most important news (everything pales into insignificance by comparison). Everybody should be informed about the danger presented by Tepco's attempt to remove the fuel rods from Fukushima reactor #4.

Yet Radio New Zealand is SILENT about this.

Apart from the notable exception of an interview with Arnie Gundesen on Chris Laidlaw's Sunday program some weeks ago, there has been SILENCE.

I wish to express my protest and condemnation of Radio New Zealand and every other media outlet in the country for keeping the people of NZ in the dark about this.

Below is an item that appeared on the ABC a few days ago

Process of dismantling Japan's crippled Fukushima nuclear plant enters dangerous new phase
Prue Bentley speaks to former Australian diplomat and author Professor Richard Broinowski
