The trial of Bradley Manning

I have not given any coverage to the trial of Bradley Manning, who leaked the Wikileaks material.

Here is an interview with Daniel Ellsberg who leaked the Pentagon Papers 40 years ago.

Daniel Ellsberg: Manning Won't Get Fair Trial
Bradley Manning gets a day in court. We'll discuss what Manning has done and if this is someone who deserves to be faced with more than 30 charges, the most damning of which includes aiding the enemy, which carries the death penalty.

Or if this is someone who is a hero and should get a medal for exposing what he has.

Daniel Ellsberg, former U.S. military analyst who famously leaked the Pentagon Papers in 1971 weighs in.

Bradley Manning: A symbol for lack of government transparency

PFC Bradley Manning is allegedly responsible for leaking footage of US pilots killing innocent civilians in Baghdad and exposing thousands of military documents. Eighteen months later, Manning makes his first court appearance for handing over this information to Wikileaks. Manning, to many, has become a symbol of the lack of US government transparency. Should the US be allowed to hide these types of war crimes? Kevin Zeese, member of the Bradley Manning Support Network, tries to answer some of these questions.
