As Arnie Gundersen has pointed out, they can begin by taking out the oldest ones first.

Two fuel assemblies supposedly taken out previously is simply another big lie. Could not have been done in open air - pyrophoric.
Note they said 1,535 fuel assemblies, after the two were supposedly removed, they repeatedly reported 1,533... but now? "over 1,500."
They rely on people having a short memory, especially about accidents. But we have so many of us tracking the whole fiasco.
The industry White Paper, discussed by Prof Koide in June 2011 lecture:

“Nuclear Safety Commission publishes “White Paper...” Professor calls them “Nuclear Safety Propaganda Commission” The Paper published in 2000, the year after the JCO accident states: “Many who work in the field of nuclear power do not really think that nuclear power is really safe.” What do you think? Go ask the Chugoku Electric Power Company. They've been saying it's absolutely safe for decades, but today maybe not. They might have doubts now, but they've continued to say it's safe. In the paper it's “Many in the nuclear field don't think nuclear is absolutely safe.” It means they're aware of the inherent danger of it. [1:21:55]

They go on to explain how the false myth of safety was created, and they name the following reasons: “Excessive trust in the safety standard of plant design.
“Excessive confidence in the absence of accidents in the past.
“Erosion of memory of past accidents.
“Efficient measures to promote public acceptance when constructing nuclear facilities.”
They're talking about cheating people?
The last item is this:
“The hope for absolute security.” But accidents do happen. “

Combination of paraphrasing and verbatim notes of the video – Marushka France

http://www.infiniteunknown.net/2011/06/16/prof-hiroaki-koide-of-kyoto-university-on-the-ugly-truth-about-the-nuclear-disasters-of-chernobyl-and-fukushima-video/
Marushkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00861398037510787059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2171175265245997391.post-59319907337811345192013-11-27T15:56:07.947+13:002013-11-27T15:56:07.947+13:00Epic article...
