Record low sea ice in Barents-Kara Sea

Record low in the Barents and Kara Seas region.

Average sea ice extent over the last 2 weeks was a record low in the Barents and Kara Seas region. This area is located on the Atlantic side of the . It is a particularly interesting region to monitor climate change and variability.
