Climate change Down-Under

Early winter in Wellington



It is mid-June, days away from the shortest day (that's the equivalent for all you Up There) and our magnolia tree is only starting to lose its leaves - about a month or two late.



It is 18 degrees Celsius. That's only about 8 degrees above average and 5 degrees above the mean MAXIMUM temperature for June.
