Crosstalking Syria

For the first time ever I find myself disagreeing with Ray McGovern. 

There is a whole world's difference between Russian actions carried out under international law and at the invitation of a sovereign government and the illegal actions of an imperial super power. 

The videos shot by the Russians are part of recording and being upfront with everything they do. This has to be contrasted with the U.S. bombing which has been secret - you wouldn't know what they had done. 

Turns out nothing much. 

This us anything but a Eussian invasion.

CrossTalk: Targeting All Terrorists

An expanding strategy and upping the ante – Russia is increasing its campaign against terrorist groups in Syria, while protecting the legitimate government in Damascus. Official Washington continues to struggle to find a response, other than expressing its fury. 

Being angry at Russia is not a foreign policy.
