Fukushima Effects - Death Valley, CA: Radioactive Rain

Badwater is the lowest place in the Western Hemisphere in the hottest place on Earth - Death Valley. Now there is a new 'hot' associated with this intriguing and entrancing place - hot radioactive rain.

Winter storm Boreas dumped hot rain on Badwater that EnviroReporter sampled and tested with the result being a whopping 26.7 times background.

The California Highway Patrol considers any substance 3 times background radiation to trigger a hazardous material event.

This rain, which Death Valley park visitors enjoyed unknowingly, was nearly 9 times CHP's haz-mat trigger.

This deadly rain storm system continued its march across America after these extremely high radiation readings were detected.
