More
than two years after the deadly 2011 earthquake and tsunami that
unleashed the worst nuclear crisis since Chernobyl - things are only
getting worse at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant.
During
a speech in Kyoto on Sunday - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe
asked for international help to fight the growing crisis at the
plant.
He
said, "We are wide open to receive the most advanced
knowledge from overseas to contain the problem...My country needs
your knowledge and expertise."
For
more on this story - I'm joined now by Naoto Kan - who was Prime
Minister of Japan during the Fukushima meltdown and Arnie Gundersen -
Veteran U.S. Nuclear Engineer and Chief Engineer for Fairewinds
Energy Education.
