The Blame Games

I must say when it comes to the life-and-death issues of climate change and radioactive water gushing uncontrolled into the Pacific the issue of gay rights does not come to mind as the most pressing problem.

There is no way that I would support such legislation in my own country, but what ever happened to 'non-interference in the domestic policies' of other countries.

The demonstrators risk becoming the pawns of the western elite in an attempt to raise anti-Russian feeling at a time when America has been ambarassed by Edward Snowden's revelations and Russia's adherence to international law and is seeking to punish Russia any way it can.

How many of them are, for instance, aware that Qatar, which is to the World Cup in 2022, has outlawed homeosexuality. Will they be baying for a boycott of the World Cup?

By then we may well have more basic concerns  - such as human survival .
