Interview on officlal US policy on Syria


US looks towards possible strike in Syria

Senator John McCain has called for US intervention in the civil war in Syria. McCain has called for US-led airstrikes to stop the violence there. On Wednesday, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta seemed a bit cautious about military interventions, but he didn't rule out the possibility of war. Robert Dreyfuss, contributing editor of The Nation, joins us to give us his take on the policy shift and if the US should intervene.
