Support for sanctions far from universal


India to continue oil trade with Iran despite US sanctions

Amid renewed pressure from the US to put more sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program, India seems determined to continue its trade with Tehran in order to meet the country's energy demands. An official from the India's oil ministry on Thursday told Reuters that the country will continue to import Iranian oil which is crucial for its energy needs despite US sanctions against Tehran. The official (Write officials name and title) further said that there was no need to seek waiver from the US and India will continue doing business with Tehran as it has been doing earlier.
