John Corzine comes out of the woodwork

Don’t you have to feel sorry for the guy! - he never i”ntended to break any rules”

A former U.S. Senator, Governor and top executive at Goldman Sachs is going to testify in the Senate today, "Golly gee, shucks, I have no idea how $1.2 billion of other people's money disappeared under my stewardship, when I was charged with protecting it, and I have no idea what happened." If anyone, anywhere wants to know why the #Occupy movement is so dedicated and focused just look at this one case with its patent and complete disregard for anything we know as just and fair . It's too bad that #Occupy can't get into those hearings today. They perfectly exemplify the outrage and frustration of people around the world where every government is systematically betraying and failing the people who pay for it, at the same time it is eating them. Jon Corzine should already be in handcuffs and in jail. If the American people tolerate this there is little hope of sparking or finding the will and the spirit to reclaim the occupied wasteland that once held our liberty. He has suddenly become the symbolic poster boy for all the evils of the infinite growth paradigm. -- MCR

Corzine sorry, puzzled by missing MF Global money
Jon Corzine said he "never intended to break any rules" while he was chief of MF Global and that he doesn't know what happened to the hundreds of millions of dollars in missing customer money.

Corzine, in his first public appearance since the firm filed for bankruptcy on October 31, gave lawmakers a lengthy account of the final days of futures brokerage MF Global and apologized to those harmed by the firm's collapse.

"I never intended to break any rules, whether it dealt with the segregation rules or any of the other rules that are applicable," said Corzine, wearing a somber dark suit and armed with an accordion file folder of documents and a highlighter pen.

When pressed by lawmakers at the House Agriculture Committee about whether he authorized a transfer of customer funds to firm accounts, Corzine said: "If I did, it was a misunderstanding."
